Annabeth

"After all this time she has never wanted to kill you. Why now?" I asked. Astraea was telling us everything that had happened at the cliff.

"She believes that she can't truly be alive if I am because I will always move to stop her. She hasn't tried to kill me before because if I die, she cannot come back and will remain in Tartarus forever." She paused the opened her mouth to speak again.

"Quiet." Will snapped, his stethoscope at her chest. "Deep breaths." He spoke softer.

Astraea rolled her eyes but did as he said.

After a moment, Will removed the metal disk and stood straight. "Looks like you're getting better and your wounds are healing nicely."

"Great. Now I can leave." Astraea stated and started to stand.

Will pushed her back so she was once again sitting on the bed. "Oh no, you are not leaving. I'm keeping you here for the day. So get used to it."

"Ugggh!" She grunted and fell backwards onto the bed.

"And don't do that, you will reopen your stitches." Will scolded.

Astraea sighed and glared at Percy and I who were trying to hold back laughter.

"Hey Will, a newbie skinned his knee on the rock wall. Can you come help, he's claiming the end is near." Austin, Will's brother, asked from the door.

"I'm coming." Will answered, grabbing some gauze, cleaning cloths, and ambrosia and following his brother out.

Astraea

Percy and Annabeth soon left after Will to repeat everything I told them to Chiron.

And one hour later, I was bored out of my mind. Will had stopped back after he took care of the kid, mainly to put back his supplies. Since then, I've been alone.

"Are you okay?" A voice asked from the door, steps walking towards me followed.

I turned to see a boy, a little shorter than Will, with black, longer, hair. He wore black jeans, a camp t shirt that was almost covered by a black leather jacket. He took a seat on the bunk next to me adjusting to make sure he didn't sit on his black sword. Leaning forward he watched me and twisted the skull rings he wore.

"Yeah I'm good. I don't think we've met before." I said.

"I'm Nico." He answered.

"Ahh the son of Hades. Will is awfully fond of you." I told him, remembering what Will had been talking about before Percy and Annabeth came to talk to me.

"He should be." Nico scoffed.

"So he's your significant other?" I smirked, propping myself up on my pillow.

"Try significant annoyance." Nico responded.

"I could go with that. Although I'm pretty sure he's not as annoying to me as he is you."

Nico smirked. "Yeah well right now he's annoying us both. Will told me to watch you for the rest of the day."

"Well then what do you want to do?" I asked. "We can just sit here and twiddle our thumbs. But if Will caught us he'd probably tell us to stop cause we might sprain em." I laughed.

"Before that. I did want to know something." He began.

"You and everyone else." I sighed. "Shoot."

"Where were you before you came to Camp Half-Blood, two hundred years ago?" He asked. The question stunned me.

Through all my years, from centuries before to now, no one has ever asked me about my distant past. I honestly didn't think anyone would.
