Hello guys, I'm back. I haven't updated for a while since things have been real crazy. For one thing I recently became an essential worker and so work has taken a lot of time out of the day. I will be done this Friday though so I can start getting stuff ready to go back to school. (And by that I mean my mom wants me to clean the house. But I'd much rather do that than work in the warehouse where I've been since May)

Either way, I hope to be updating regularly again. I already have a few one-shots started, I believe two of them are based off the comments of requests for one-shots so if you're waiting for yours you shouldn't have to wait much longer.

As for requests, please comment anything you want to see. I read all of your comments, requests or not, and I try my best to reflect what you guys like. Also, if you have requested something but haven't seen it yet, don't be afraid to comment and ask for it again :) my memory is kinda shot and the notifications on my Wattpad app have been a little fussy so I might have missed or forgotten yours and I am sorry for that.

Now for this one-shot, a lot of comments I have gotten lately are mostly comments telling me how many of you have cried while reading these stories, or many other emotional tolls they may have had. So this one-shot is for all of you guys who have had your hearts broken or brains exploded while reading what I write. Hopefully it makes you happy instead of sad! And I hope all of you are staying safe and enjoying the days!

Thank you for reading, now enjoy the story :)

Shattered patches of light seeped through the blinds, speckling the floor and the walls. He woke up before she did, listening to the birds starting to chirp and the gentle sound she made when she breathed. Almost like every breath drew out a satisfied and happy sigh.

He smiled, shifting slightly to turn towards her more. The movement made her reach out in her sleep, hands feeling around for anything they could hold on to. He let his arm fall towards her and one of her hands clung to it, the other wrapping a piece of the blanket into a closed fist.

She sighed again and a smile turned her lips before they parted into a wide yawn. When they closed again, her eyes opened sleepily and her smile widened. "Good morning, Beautiful," he whispered.

Her face grew a pinkish tint as she responded. "Good morning, Seaweed Brain. What time is it?"

Percy shrugged. "Morning. I'm guessing early."

"Too early to get up then." She responded, moving herself under the blankets to be closer to him.

Percy reached out and pulled her closer. She buried her face into his neck and breathed deeply, getting lost in the salty scent he gave off. Likewise, he kissed the top of her head, his face lingering there and smelling the lemon shampoo she had used the night before. The shampoo he remembered rubbing into her hair, his hands getting tangled in blonde curls.

They pressed against each other, neither speaking a word but both of them smiling. In the early morning hours like these, they could feel the gentle chill in the air outside. While it was soon to be warmed by the sun, for now it was enough of an excuse to keep them under the covers and tangled around each other. In this state it was easy to drift off to sleep again. And Annabeth did.

Percy found himself just staring at her face as she slept. He found himself thinking of all the times she had smiled. The times she had cried. The times where her mouth curled and her eyes crinkled while she ran forwards with her arms outstretched because she had seen him for the first time that day.

He loved her more than anything else in his life. He loved her more than he could ever express. So he whispered, as she drifted through her dreams, "I love you, Annabeth." And in her sleep she smiled.
