Mesut was sitting in his couch checking the time in his phone.
They must have arrived.
He thought to himself.
He had picked them up himself being sure that Vanessa would like them. He missed her. A lot. Two months have passed since the day she left. Two months and some days.
He didn't get the chance on visiting her and unfortunately neither did she.
Mesut thought that she was always way too busy to think of him.
He knew that this wasn't the truth though.
Vanessa always finds time to chat with him and she always reminded him that she loved him. Mesut was feeling lonely but was happy for her.
Her movie was supposed to be great. Mesut had heard people talking about it.
And he was so proud. So proud of her.
- My girlfriend's the filmmaker of this movie.
Mesut had explained a couple of times when someone commented it on it.
He wanted to see her, to touch her, to kiss her. It was difficult that she wasn't with him.
Vanessa told him everyday that he missed him but what if she was just exaggerating trying to comfort him ?
Mesut wasn't able not to miss her. The distance had made him love her even more. And she told her everyday. But it wasn't the same. There was a part of him that had regretted not asking her to stay. Sometimes he felt way more lonely than he could handle.
The first nights that he was forced to spend alone, he couldn't sleep. He couldn't handle that Vanessa wasn't beside him, or that she wouldn't even be there when he would wake up in the morning.
He was attached to her. He was staring blankly at the side of his bed that she used to sleep.
- I miss you Vanessa.
He had many times whispered, thinking that somehow she could hear him.
He checked his phone again.
The flowers that had sent to her must have arrived by now.
He made his way slowly in the garden of his house. The night was dark and the sky was full of stars. He looked at them wondering if in India the stars were shining that bright.

The morning light woke up Vanessa before her alarm clock. She opened her eyes looking all over her room. She wanted to sleep a little longer but decided that it was better to get herself ready so to be in the studio a little earlier.
She was now in India for a little more than just two months.
It had been pretty difficult in the beginning but she guessed it was better now.
She still missed Mesut and there were days or worse nights that she couldn't help it. She had cried herself to sleep a lot of nights, especially the first ones.
She was now used to it though. She knew that things could be worse.
She talked with Mesut every day and he reassured her everyday that he loved her. She had questioned whether he meant it or whether he said it to comfort her. She could imagine him flirting with other girls but she preferred not to think about it. It was better like that. Although the filming of her movie was going great she really was looking forward on finishing. She wanted to go back to London. She had even started missing her mother.
She had actually find an opportunity to visit Mesut next month but she wasn't going to tell him. It was meant to be a surprise. She could keep her mouth shut although she really wanted to scream that she was going to visit him.
She smiled. She couldn't actually wait. She couldn't wait seeing him again. These two months felt like ages to her and she didn't doubt that Mesut was most probably feeling the same.
Another month.
She kept thinking to herself.
And then she had to wait again like three months till seeing him again.
She wished that she had the opportunity to visit him earlier but it was difficult for both of them.
She smiled.
She could wait.
He was worth waiting.

- Cut!
Louisa said.
She smiled brightly at the cast and announced them that they could now have their break. She was proud herself that the movie had gone that well.
She faced Vanessa with her smile being all over her face.
- It was great, wasn't it ?
She asked Vanessa.
- Of course it was!
- And I think that there are not a lot of scenes left.
Louisa added.
Well actually there were a lot of scenes left but as everyone, Louisa was trying to make Vanessa feel better, so every time they finished a scene she was saying the same thing. That there weren't many scenes left.
Vanessa smiled at her.
She knew what was Louisa trying to do and she really appreciated it.
- Thank you Louisa. For everything.
- So have you decided when you're going to visit him ? You didn't mention the other day.
- I've booked tickets in about a month.
Vanessa replied.
- Oh, that's great. He must be really excited.
- Well, he doesn't know it actually, nor will I tell him anytime soon. It's meant to be a surprise.
Vanessa said winking at her.
- That's even better! I bet you can't wait to see the look on his face when you'll appear in front of him.
Vanessa laughed.
- He'll definitely be shocked, but I can't wait to go either.
- Maybe we should all take a break, next month. I missed my home too.
Louisa complained.
Vanessa looked at her sympathetic.
- It's not a bad idea actually.
- I know and to tell you the truth I've been considering it for sometime now and I don't know why I haven't talked about it with the others. I guess it'll be difficult for us to come back again if we visit London, even if it's for a short time.
Vanessa thought of it. She knew that Louisa was right. If she went back in London she knew she would have a difficult time when coming back here again. But she wanted to see Mesut. So she didn't really have a choice.
- You're right Louisa and I'm pretty sure it'll affect the movie.
- That too.
They remained silent for a little both thinking about different things.
The truth was that Vanessa was going to visit London even if she wouldn't be able to concentrate to her movie after that. Since now she had done a great job. At least her movie was about to be good.
And that really mattered.
She guessed that this was worth all the sleepless nights and all the tears and everything that made her feel bad.
Besides, when finishing with the movie, she was going to be back in London, start working on her next one and be with Mesut. Everything was going to be better than it was now. And Vanessa was happy when thinking about it. The future was going to be a lot better.
Vanessa smiled.
She deserved to be happy.
- Mrs. Taylor ?
Vanessa turned to see a man carrying two bunches of flowers.
She was used to fans sending her flowers all the time. If she wanted to be real to herself she liked it.
- Are they for me ?
She asked smiling.
The man nodded and Vanessa was pretty sure he saw him blushing when she smiled at him.
She took the flowers from his hands. They were beautiful. Fans always made her feel special, although she knew that her brother and his kids were also responsible for some of them.
In each bunch there was a card. Fans were writing their wishes too.
She took the first card and her eyes opened wide. She didn't expect it.
I heard your movie's going great and I'm really so glad it does. I know we haven't talked in a while but it would be a lie if I told you I haven't missed you.
Hope we can talk when you're coming back from India.
Remember we'll always be friends.
Best wishes and good luck with the rest of your movie
Kim
She felt her eyes filling with tears. Kim was Julian's ex manager and Vanessa's best friend. She had caused a lot of trouble and Vanessa was kind of blaming her for how things with Julian had turned. Most of all though she blamed her for the paparazzi that had destroyed her life.
She put the flowers and the card aside and took the other card.
She could think of Kim later.
Her hand started shaking when she saw who was the next card from.
I'm really glad your movie's being that big of a success. I want you to know that I miss you and that I think about you all the time. If you could see my reaction when someone mentions your name you would understand. I look forward on seeing you and believe me I'll find sometime to come and visit you.
I really hope you mean it when you say you love me and that you're doing great, besides remember that stars shine the brightest when the night is the darkest.
I love you to the stars and back.
Mesut

Vanessa felt her eyes wet again. Mesut was so sweet. And Vanessa loved him. The truth was that it was the first time he was sending her flowers. Vanessa touched the flowers thinking that it was him she was touching.
- I love you.
She whispered to the flowers.
- How sweet of him!
Louisa commented reading the card above her shoulder.
- Come on Louisa, this is supposed to be personal!
Vanessa complained laughing.
- To the stars and back! How cliche!
Louisa commented again.
- Well don't you read it, it's our thing!
Vanessa said again.
She looked again in the card. Everything has changed since she met Mesut. She herself wasn't the same person she had been when she was with Julian.
She had questioned many times why her relation with Julian had failed.
Now she knew.
Julian and her were just not meant to be. And maybe Mesut and her were as well not meant to be.
She had to wait and see though, because there was a possibility that they were indeed meant to be.
Maybe they had a whole future together, ahead of them and maybe not.
Maybe they were going to spend the rest of their lives together.
Maybe their relation was strong enough to manage it through anything, any distance and any obstacle.
Maybe their relation was written in the stars.

I know that they were maybe mistakes the truth is that when I wrote the prequel of this I didn't actually thought that I was going to make a sequel to this, but I really enjoyed writing it.
Thanks again for being supportive and I'm going to publish soon a story with Julian Draxler 😍
So if you want to read that as well, I'll be really happy.

Much love
xx
