I didn't plan to be famous. I didn't really have a desire to be famous. It just happened. I didn't purposely mean to run into one of the most famous Youtubers and spill my lunch all over all of us. And I certainly didn't mean to fall in love. A lot of people say it was just luck. But I thinks it was Fate. Life is a journey, and it can be very surprising.

BEEP BEEP BEEP
I woke up dreading another day at work. Working at Starbucks might seem like a great job considering the discount you get on drinks and food but it wasn't really. I grabbed my phone and turned off my alarm clock. I slung my legs over the side of the bed and walked to my bathroom. I brushed my teeth, washed my face, and brushed my hair. I took a quick shower and when I got out I braided my hair in two dutch braids. One on each side starting from my forehead and going down.

I but on my black skinny jeans and my Starbucks shirt along with a bit of mascara. I slipped on my white converse and put on my Starbucks hat. They really should get the employees different outfits. I grabbed my backpack and phone. My backpack was just a little bag filled with my wallet, charger, jacket, headphone, and other things a girl might need. I took my keys from the key rack and headed out of my apartment.

As I walked down the New York streets I felt the cool breeze. It was always chilly in New York. Unfortunately. See if your wondering why I'm seventeen and live by myself already. It's because my mom died when I was about six or seven. And I got into a car crash when I was sixteen with my dad. I lived with foster parents until I was seventeen and then I got kicked out of the system because nobody wants a seventeen yer old. I found a cheap apartment and a decent paying job. I guess my life isn't really that bad. I have a roof over my head. I have food and water. Also I have clothes, what else could I really need.

When I arrived to work I noticed we were really busy. I went to the back and but my stuff in the little cubbies they have for the employees. I took my apron I leave at work and put it on. I went back to the front off the store and Joshua already had my breakfast. See Joshua is a friend I made when I first started working here. He showed me how to work the cash register and all of that kind of stuff. We have a schedule that whenever he sees me walk through the door he puts an apple fritter in the microwave for me.

So by the time I'm ready for work it's done. It's might be a little weird but it's how we do things around here. It works out great for all of us too. "Can you tie this?" I asked Joshua pointing towards my apron. He tied it and I was set for work. "So what's new?" Joshua asked me as he played with a braid of mine. "You ask me that everyday. You should know I have a pretty boring life." I said as I handed a costumer there frappe. "So what about you?" I asked him and he smiled. "We'll I met a girl. Her name is Jodie. She's super pretty and has a grey personality." He said as he made a large coffee for an impatient costumer. "Ooh," I said trying my best to sound excited for him. He looked at me an laughed.

The morning seemed to drag on and on. I thought it would never end. Finally it did and it was time for our lunch brake. I went to the back and took ok my hat and apron. I put on my light grey jacket and shoved my wallet in my pocket. I grabbed my phone and walked outside onto the busy sidewalks. I walked over to one of the best restaurants in New York City. Raising Canes. Now I know they don't just have this in New York but it is seriously the best! I stepped into the warm building that smelt like gravy and fried chicken. There was hardly a line so my turn came quickly. "Hi, may I take your order?" A girl with short brown hair and caramel eyes asked me. "I want a number five but instead of a roll I want mashed potatoes." I said as she typed on the cash register. "Anything to drink?" She asked me looking up at me. "Oh ya, just a medium sweet tea." I said as I got back onto my phone. I scrolled through Instagram until my food was ready.

"Thanks have a great day." The lady said as I handed her the money. "Thanks you to." I said grabbing the little to go box and my tea. I walked out of Canes and onto the busy sidewalk. I opened my to go box and started eating before I got to work. Of course right when I was shoving food into my mouth someone bumped into me. "Shit," before I knew it my mashed potatoes and sweet tea went flying everywhere. Next thing I knew I was covered in mashed potatoes and so were the people standing in front of me. "I'm so sorry!" Said the people standing in front of me. "It's okay, it's all my fault." I said with a small smile.

I picked up the to go box but I had no clue where my tea had gone. "Well here's this." A guy around my age said. "Thank you," I said. "Grayson Dolan." He said holding his hand out. My hand looked tiny compared to his. "And I'm Ethan Dolan." Said the other guy standing next to him. They looked super familiar. "You guys are famous Youtubers a right?" I had asked them. They looked at each other and laughed. "Yes we are," They said in unison. "Well it was nice meeting you guys but I'm afraid now I have to go and buy me something else to eat." I said with a smile on my face. "Do you maybe want a picture or autograph?" Grayson asked me and Ethan pulled out his phone for a picture.

"No it's fine I'm sure you guys are really busy." I said by then a few other fans had stopped to take pictures and stuff. "How about we get you lunch since we did kind of ruin yours." They laughed. "No it's totally fine," I said pulling out my phone to check the time. "Our treat," Grayson said as he signed a girls phone case. "So where to?" Ethan asked and I thought about it for a second. "Raising Canes!" I said and my mouth just watered thinking about their chicken. So I might be obsessed with Canes...
