Like graffiti,
Can't ignore itSpencer had never had a lot of loose clothing. She always wore tight tops and tight pants.
Her pregnancy had moved her a size up but not much that it was noticeable.
Spencer fluttered her eyes open. Toby's arms were wrapped around hers and she and him lie in bed together.
Toby was still asleep so Spencer strategically slipped out of his grasp.
She stripped of her pajamas and replaced them with a t-shirt and some jeans, but when she went to zip them, she found that she couldn't.
Spencer had yet to go shopping for maternity clothes, all her clothes seem to fit alright... until now.
Spencer sneaked a peek at her stomach in the mirror.
There it was. Small, maybe, but there. Her very own baby bump.
"Toby," she whispered, shaking him awake.
"What?" He groaned.
Spencer grabbed his hand and placed it on her stomach.
"Is it kicking or something?" Toby asked.
"No," Spencer shook her head. "I have a bump. I'm showing,"
Toby sat upright immediately and placed both of his hands on her stomach.
"Oh my god, your right!" He agreed.
Spencer smiled and giggled.
This is what she had imagined pregnancy to be like. A bunch of tiny joyous moments of her a Toby and baby cavanaugh.
She didn't anticipate the morning sickness or the constant nausea but it was worth it, she thought.
"Your huge!" Toby teased.
Spencer pulled away. "Hey!"
She pranced into the kitchen where her coffee machine sat on the island.
"You want some coffee?" Spencer asked Toby.
"I'm good," he answered, sitting down across from her on one of the bar stools.
"Ok," Spencer pulled out the bag of coffee grinds but something wasn't right.
She smelled the grinds and gasped. "This is decaf!"
"Your going to kill the baby if you keep drinking coffee like you do!" Toby defended.
"So you hid my coffee!?" Spencer demanded.
"Spencer, your gonna give it two heads!" Toby defended.
"More to love!" Spencer snapped, darting around the room looking for her coffee.
Finally, she found it staged under the sink. "Oh, I hate you, Toby cavanaugh," Spencer muttered out of rage so she didn't really mean it.
"I love you too," Toby replied, sarcastically.
Spencer made and drank he coffee contently while Toby shook his head.
"Ok," Toby sighed. "I gotta go to work,"
"You found a job?" Spencer asked.
"Yeah. The rosewood PD took me back," Toby answered.
"Ok, see ya later then," Spencer gave him a swift kiss.
