Joj
Hey you can come over now if you want(Y/n)
Alright I'll be over in a minuteI set my phone down and looked at myself in the mirror. I dressed kinda like a nice casual. I opened the door and stepped out into the hall. I took a deep breath and knocked on the door. I don't know why I was so nervous. Well, I was starting to realize why, but I just kept denying it. Maybe I like George. No, I can't. The door opened and took me out of my thoughts.
Joji looked me up and down."Hey! You look beautiful." He handed me a rose. I blushed a little.
"Aw thank you. You don't look too bad yourself."He had on a grey t-shirt with a nice black jacket over it. I'm also pretty sure the jeans he was wearing were the same black skinny jeans he's been wearing for the past 3 days, but whatever man. Joji motioned me in.
I sat down on the couch and Joji went to the kitchen to get something.
"So where are we going?" I asked.
"You'll see." Joji said as he was reentering the living room. He was holding a plate of cookies.
"You bake?"
"If it's out of a package it's not too bad." He replied chuckling and handing me one.
"Dude same... but why'd you make cookies? You didn't need to get me anything either." I said holding up the rose and smiling.
"I don't know I just... I don't know. I wanted you to feel welcomed, I guess." He said rubbing the back of his neck.
"Well thank you. You're really sweet."
He smiled.
"Uh, so are you ready to go?" He asked grabbing his keys.
"Sure, let's head out."8:14 pm
We got to his car and he opened the door for me and I got in. He slid into the driver's seat.
"Jeez it's like it's a date or something." I said obviously joking.
Joji was quiet for a second and kept looking forward.
"It can be if you want it to." He turned to me.
I smiled. I couldn't stop smiling. I didn't even think before I replied,
"That's alright with me..."
"Really? Sweet! So... let's go!" He smiled and started to pull out. I giggled.8:42 pm
After some driving he pulled into a parking lot.
"You know what... I'm glad you said that... that thing about the date... cause this place is actually supposed to be nice and... romantic. So I hope you like it..."
"I'm sure I'll love it! It looks so cute."We stepped into the restaurant, Milk and Roses, and he picked the perfect place. It wasn't fancy, but it was romantic and cute. It had garden seating outside. It had just started snowing and it was like negative 100 degrees out so we definitely weren't going to be sitting outside. However, it did look cute and I would've liked to if we came in the warmer seasons. We walked up to the hostess.
"Miller for two." He said as he looked back at me.
"Right this way."
The hostess grabbed two menus and walked us to our table. Our table was by a huge window where you could see the garden. We sat down and I finally had time to think about all of this. It happened so quick. It went from hanging out on New Year's Eve to a date. I didn't mind it though. I really like him. I've only know him for a couple of days, but he's sweet.
"So what do you think."
"Oh, I'm sorry what did you say? I was thinking." I was pulled out of my thoughts.
"It's fine. You do that a lot. It's cute... anyway I asked what you were thinking about getting."
"Oh, um, the Amish chicken sounds good." I started to blush again.
"You're too cute when you blush. You also do that a lot, but I like it." He smiled at me. I just smiled and looked back at my menu.It was funny how his personality could change so quickly. Yesterday and just this morning he was vulgar and weird, now he's so sweet and romantic.
"So I think I'm gonna get that too."
"The chicken?"
"Yep."The waiter came right after he answered. We ordered our drinks as well as our food.
9:52 pm
We finished our meal and it was great. The conversation never died. We stood up and Joji put his arm around my waist as we walked out. I really, really liked him. I couldn't deny it anymore. He was pretty hot. We got in the car.
"So where next?" I asked.
Joji just smiled and started driving.
