Author's Note
Hye everyone, thanks for reading Left Right Left-The Revival, and for showing your support through your comments and votes. It means alot. I am really getting excited as the story proceeds because there are many secrets which I want to reveal right now, but as everyone say, Patience is Virtue.
Again, I wanna thank you all, lovely readers and please feel free to read, vote and comment.... :)
P. S. This is the longest chapter, yet. And I am sorry for the irregular updates but you can blame the exams for this.
"I am Naina Singh. "
Someone coughed loudly. It was none other than Captain Rajveer who obviously by now understood something was wrong with this cadet standing over there.
"I am here because it was my dream to become an army officer." she ended her speech and went back to her seat. This excuse sounded awesome in her mind but right now, by looks on everyone's face, it seemed pretty lame. But the introductions went on, no one was enough interested to question anyone.
By evening, everyone was finished with their introductions and back to their dorms.
For everyone there was one thing that was enough to scare them and excite them, that was their roommate. This year was no different. The list was up and the roommates declared. No one could change them, once decided.
Naina looked for her name and a groan came to her lips when she found her partner to be Pooja Ghai, the mobile girl.
No one was happy with their partners. Ali was even thinking of requesting to change his partner from the prisoner Aalekh to someone better. Whereas Huda thought his new roommate was not man enough to stay with him in same room. Yudi was not happy with Huda's attitude at all, and kept wondering how the hell he is going to spend his next year.

But besides some cursing, groaning, throwing fits and a little bit of unsuccessful tries to change their partners they went to their respective rooms.
"I really want to stay awake and talk to you but I am extremely tired... Good night, I am going to my sleep mode." Pooja said to Naina, while arranging her bed. Besides her Mobile Addiction she seemed pretty normal and friendly girl to Naina.
Naina took out the picture of her brother when she was sure that Pooja was deep in slumber. This picture was supposed to be hanging on the Wall of Matyrs that KMA had. But instead it was in her hands. She took the picture and placed it under her bed's mattress, the safest place for the time being.
Night went by, and the first day of training was waiting for all new cadets. The first drill was to be supervised by Major Nair, the vice principal, himself. He was not at all happy with the posture the cadets were standing. It was 6 in the warning, and everyone was yawning or rubbing their eyes, clearly showing signs of laziness. But being in KMA for so many years, he knew the exact drill which will wake them up.
"Attention." his voice boomed across the green field. Every cadet stood straight, staring at the Major, and waiting for him to explain the drill.
Many were excited, some were afraid but everyone really wanted to know what type of drills KMA had stored in for them.
Naina found herself standing beside Ali and Pooja, the only friends she had made so far, if exchanging a few words meant becoming friends.
"This drill is going to be in teams. Team of  4. I will be selecting the team members. The team has to complete the running task in 40 minutes. But if someone fails to do this, then the whole team will be punished. " he completed explaining but seeing everyone so confused, he knew that they thought running in these fields is going to be easy.
"Sir, are you sure you are not forgetting something, which will make this task, you know, a little bit interesting?" Huda said, being his cocky self.
"3 extra laps for cadet Huda." Major Nair glared at him, his eyes challenging the young cadet to question him any more.
"Now, everyone assemble according to the teams, I am going to announce.
Cadet Aalekh, Ghai, Singh and Beigh." First team was made, and Naina, Aalekh, Pooja and Ali gathered, ready to make a move. "Next team, Cadet Huda, Sahni, Gupta, and Jindal." Huda, Yudi, Harsh, and Dhara, four other cadets got together and slowly the whole batch was divided into 10 groups. Everyone ready to start running.

With the shot of gun, everyone started running. This was no competition but everyone failed to understand this. With groups talking among each other, they were trying to get ahead of other one.
Naina and Ali just greeted each other but in their group nobody was able to speak anything because Pooja couldn't stop talking. "You know, I was in state Hockey team, but I chose to leave it and come here. Just to find my Fiancee. You know about him, Right? " she asked looking at everyone in her group. Ali, being a polite person, just answered, "No. " this was the answer she needed, before she started to talk about his runaway to-be-husband Rohit,  who ran away after their engagement but now she is here to find him. Naina tried to introduce herself to Aalekh, while Ali was trying hard to run and listen whatever Pooja was saying. "Hye, I am Naina Singh. You must be Aalekh. " she didn't know what else to say to a person who looked bored out of mind, and was ready to kill anyone who tried to mess up with him, with his glare, "When you know who am I, then what's the point in asking. " he said in a bored tone and started running faster, leaving her behind and putting an end to a talk, Naina started.
Their group was the second one, behind the group of Huda, Yudi, Harsh and Dhara. Huda was busy with flirting with the only girl in their group while Yudi and Harsh were just silent during the drill.
The drill seemed simple, running around, but running on wet mud, and that too when it is a climbing. The inexperience of the Cadets made them think that they could do it pretty easily, but soon they all realized how wrong they were.

They all barely completed the drill in 40 minutes but didn't give the Major the satisfaction of misery of any cadet. But Huda wasn't worried about the drill, rather he was thinking about the gift he left for his favourite girl on his way to drill.

Due to lack of teamwork, Naina, Aalekh and Pooja and Ali were running at some distances. Ali and Pooja were first to complete the drill in their, followed by Aalekh. But Naina, couldn't complete the drill as she got a small piece of paper with a message that was more important to her than any drill.
I know why you are here, wait for me here, and we will meet in next 5 minutes. -your well wisher.

Naina tried to think of someone who can know her secret but couldn't think of anyone except Captain Rajveer Singh Shekhawat, he had an aura, so confident, that told her she had to be aware of him. But did he come to know about her so soon?

After waiting for 15 minutes she didn't see anyone coming. If someone wanted to meet her in a secret place and wanted to blackmail her then this was a perfect spot, then why no one is coming?
She decided to complete the drill, which by now she had forgotten about. But, reaching the final point she had to face 40 pairs of eyes staring only at her, 2 pairs with fear in them, worrying about punishment, 1 pair with anger, that he had to suffer because of a stupid person who couldn't complete a small drill and 1 pair which was full of amusement because he could punish someone.

"Cadet Singh, Ghai, Aalekh and Beigh. 5 rounds around the mountain, carrying the sacs full of sand." Huda just smirked, because he knew Naina was late because she waited for him on that spot. But this smirk was enough to tell Naina that her secret was not out, it was just an immature prank.
"Sir, this is all my fault, my team mates do not deserve this punishment. " Naina tried to save her new friends but something told her she didn't have chances of success in this.
"You are correct Cadet, this is all your fault and this is your team. And team needs to work together, but today as this is your first day of training, I am going to give you a choice. This is me being kind, so be thankful. " after a pause Major continued "Either your whole team suffers a minor punishment or you alone gets a major punishment."
Ali and Pooja tried to protest, because everyone standing there knew that if running 5 rounds carrying a weight of 10kg is minor punishment then major punishment was not a thing anyone wanted. They wanted to say that they are choosing the first option. They were ready to suffer minor punishment but Naina was the first one to speak, "I choose the Major punishment."
Major Nair was a little bit impressed with the fire in this girl's eyes, but a lot more motivated to extinguish it. "Very well then. Bring the ropes."

Soon, ropes were brought and Naina was hanging upside down from a tree. "Brigadier sir, told me how much you wanted to prove yourself, so right now I am giving you a chance. You are going to be in this position for next 3 hours. Understood? " Major whispered at first, making sure only Naina heard him but in the end he shouted, making it clear to everyone that he was very very creative when it came to punishments.
"Yes sir. " Naina shouted at top of her lungs, showing that she could do this. Slowly, at the end of 2nd hour, the ground was empty with Naina, hanging alone. She could feel her blood going all way down to her head and the darkness that was going to surround her. She was losing it. She wanted to stay awake, and at end of third hour, wanted to prove everyone that she could handle it but she couldn't.
She slowly drifted to darkness, bit not before seeing someone dressed in leather jacket and jeans and running towards her. If her brain was working right, after all this torture, she thought it was Captain Rajveer.
