My first Simon fan fiction, hope you enjoy. Not a draft even though it says it is.

It was midday, I was sat on the island in the kitchen swinging my legs back and forth waiting for Simon to finish making lunch, he insisted that he do it all by himself to prove he was capable. I watched him from the side as he tried to flip over the pancakes without them slipping out of the pan or without him spilling any of the runny liquid that hadn't solidified yet. I giggled slightly as he flipped one over as half landed in the pan and half over the side. Without thinking I got down and placed my hand under the half hanging over as a safety net before Simon flopped it back into the pan using the spatula's hand.

"Thanks but I had it under control", Simon said slightly frowning his forehead down at me because he wanted to do it all be himself like an annoyed child who says they can do something and then sulks when they can't.

"Of course you did Si", I replied back cheekily hoping he wouldn't take offence at my comment or respond back the same way. Instead he placed his finger into the bowl with the remaining batter and plopped it on the tip of my nose, smirking at the finished product showing his dimples and that if I tried to help again he would do something worse. He didn't scare me so I got the batter mixture and poured some into another frying pan. He didn't stop me, just watched closely as I made a heart shaped pancake with "Simon" written in the middle. I poured the remaining mix over the top and then once it was set I flipped it over slowly to make sure it stayed in one piece using the spatula, which it did thankfully. Once it had browned off I slid it out of the pan and onto a clean plate. I then took some strawberries out of the packet on the side, sliced then up, and placed them around the writing following outline shape of the heart.

I picked up the plate, slowly moving it to my right then gently placing it back down on the counter so Simon was forced to look upon it directly in front of him. He smiled at the pancake then at me before pulling me to his side with his left arm where it stayed around my lower back.

"I love it, but I love you more (Y/N)", he said looking down into my eyes as he tightened his grip around my back onto my waist with both arms now, pulling me closer to him. He bent down so our foreheads were inches from touching ; I rested my left hand softly onto his rosy left cheek and with my other hand I placed it mostly onto his neck but a small part was attracted to part of his collarbone so it stayed there.

"I love you too Si", I replied back quietly not needing to speak any louder because we were so close anyway, so close that I could feel the heat radiating off Si's body against mine, so close that it was inevitable that we would kiss eventually.

I rested both of my hands onto his cheeks, rubbing them gently like I was handling something so delicate. As I was doing this Simon's hands had found a place to relax on my sides, my curves, whilst still keeping eye contact. We both leaned in at the same time connecting our lips softly. We kissed again, and again, and again without stopping, each kiss getting more tender and more passionate until the air persisted we use it. Listening to the air I retracted my mouth and consumed the oxygen, refilling my lungs as Simon did the same. I looked up at him only to realise the batter mix from earlier placed onto my nose was now on his face. I smiled and yet out a little smirk noise covering my mouth with my hand as to not make it louder or for him to notice but he'd already noticed, of course he had he was watching me so there was no point in hiding.

He removed my hand from my mouth lowering our hands to our sides and entangling them. I moved my other arm up to his face as he stood there, following my movements with his eyes, as I wiped away the mix in one clean motion with my jacket sleeve. "Perfect", I exclaimed after removing my sleeve from his face and wreathing that hand into his free one, which he gladly accepted. We stood frozen again smiling, showing our teeth and cheek bones, like idiots at each other whilst holding hands. We kissed once more on the lips before Simon picked up our lunch carrying it with him as we walked into the front room to eat on the sofa where we sat snuggled up next to each other for a couple of hours watching the TV and making each other laugh.

Quite short but my next story will probably be a bit longer. Hope you enjoyed and have a great day/night.
