Hope you enjoy.

It was an early Sunday morning in the middle of spring, warm but not unbearable. A dense urge had swept over me, enticing me to go for a swim; seeing as I had nothing planned I advanced towards my wardrobe stealthily as Simon slept, and quickly picked out my swimming costume before I left the hollow room. I hesitantly whispered, "I love you" before softly closing the door before me and spinning with the spirals in search of my sea.

I changed into my turquoise costume and proceeded to enter the water. It surrounded my foot, heating the vulnerable skin. Placing my other foot in, the water became absorbed as I took a step down, further into the tranquil ocean. I took three more careful steps until all but my head was submerged in the refreshing blue. I slid my arm over my head until it dissolved and my other arm replaced it before it too sunk.

I must have swum for a solid 15 minutes without stopping, back and forth in the pool without interference. However the house was alarming quiet still, as everyone was sleeping, so I reached for my phone and starting blasting out some soothing music as I just splashed water around like a child. As I sang along at a mellow pitch, I started to do strokes again, feeling the silky water against my skin. I was half way across the pool when unexpectedly a pair of very long arms entangled themselves around my waist loosely, dragging me out of my front crawl. I stood up straight in the water as behind me a warm, dry head snuggled itself tightly into my neck.

"Morning beautiful", Simon whispered sweetly into my ear as he held me. I turned my eyes so they were cast upon him and revealing my blushing face.

"Morning Simon", I replied and then kissed his lips. "Shouldn't you be sleeping?"

"I woke up and couldn't get back to sleep so I thought I might as well get up plus I knew you were here so I thought I'd stagger in", Simon answered now holding my waist straight on.

"Fair enough but how'd you know I was here?" I asked curiously.

"I saw you get your clothes out of the wardrobe."

"So I woke you up? I'm so sorry, I was trying really hard not to", I frantically responded.

"(Y/N)", Simon said calmly as he removed a clump of wet hair from my face, tucking it softly away from my eyes. "I don't care, honestly."

"But...you should", I creakingly said, bowing my head to hide my melancholy expressions. He pulled me closer, forcing my head to rest on his chest as he held my head in one hand and the other brushed against my arm. I felt pressure on the top of my head as a kiss was branded there.

"Stop, you did nothing wrong and even if you did wake me my little annoyance vanished instantly just before you left with your sweet three words." I could feel his smile looking down on me, and his fingers catching the ends of my hair.

"You heard that then", I replied, tilting my head even further down as I let my guilt sink in before my chin was jerked upwards.

"(Y/N), stop. And yes, luckily I did", Simon gently responded with hate of my expressions laced in. Why was he so good at reading me? He kept his hand under my chin as he spoke and still long after; he leaned down taking my lips into his passionately. "I love you (Y/N) no matter what you do", he said cupping hands around my cheeks, tightly but not painfully. I stared, partly frozen into his eyes, before remembering how to speak.

"I love you too Si and I'm sorry. Want to come swim along with me now?" I said perking myself back up and forcing a smile to emerge.

"Of course", he replied taking my hand into his securely, smiling. Wadding a little in front of me, dragging him after me, I jumped down under the water and pulled him in after me. A somewhat large splash was created on the surface, but we didn't care. I swam backwards with my free hand before Simon, who was directly overhead me now, gripped my waist making me stop and hold onto his neck as we sunk a little. Ducking his head next to mine, he kissed me, creating bubbles. We emerged back to the surface together after our lungs screamed for air and just stood staring at each other joyfully.

Short and sweet hopefully.
