The second part as promised.

I immediately tried to open my mouth, trying to call for him, then remembering that I couldn't. My paralysed body was buried beneath the remoulded metal and probably shattered glass. I couldn't open my lips so I tried to make a noise in my throat instead. I managed a slight groan but nothing immensely loud. I tried again, forcing my throat to help but only a small noise was created again, only a fraction louder than before. I started again but I was shortly cut off when machine tools flooded my ears.

"Keep still", I heard someone shout over the machinery. "We're going to get you out."

I couldn't even move if I wanted to but maybe Simon could. I hadn't heard any noises from my right side so hopefully he was okay. Worry started to take over and ran across my whole body as I realised I'd heard nothing from him. No movement, no voice, nothing. I hoped it was just because he was in the same situation as but he might not be; he might be worse and I didn't want to think about it and luckily my thoughts were dragged away from me when I heard blades right next to me.

The sharp cutting tools pierced through the metal to my left like a knife to water. I guessed the metal was presumably removed as a change of colour came across my eyes. The solid changed to become an extremely bright shade, causing me to squint my eyes which only made the freezing metal above dig in more but I dared not to change my eyes back as it could hurt more.

"Almost finished, don't you worry", the deep voiced man from earlier said. I sensed him floating his figure above me as my eyes welcomed back the shade.

A few more minutes of cutting and moving happened before I was able to move. I opened my eyes to a bright sun beaming down which immediately made me close my eyes almost shut again. I looked to my left and then to my right. To my left I saw a few fire engines, police cars and a couple of ambulances. To my right I saw some fire fighters cutting more metal but what was beneath the metal was more important, a crushed Simon.

"Is he okay? Is he still breathing..." I asked quickly but I was cut off when I heard a groan come from my right. I felt tears drop down in relief and just as quickly as they had fallen some helpers grabbed me from under my arms and pulled me away. I was grateful for the help but a part of me also wanted to stay and watch over Simon even though I knew he was in safe hands.

"We're going to have to get you to hospital for a full body scan", a female paramedic told me once I'd been dislodged from the metal already trying to get me into the ambulance by ushering me closer.

"I can't leave yet, I need to see that Simon is alright", I told her taking a small step back, glancing over to the demolished car that Simon was still partly trapped in.

"Miss, your health is a primary concern, please enter the van", she told me politely but I shook my head and before she could compete I stumbled slowly away, trying to remember how to walk again, back over to the site. She tried to call me back over but failed as I blocked her voice out, only focusing on Simon who was almost free. She attempted to chase after me but soon got caught up in the masses.

I walked as quickly as I could around to the driver's side of the car, ignoring anyone preventing me access through and ignoring the rest of the scene, pushing my way forward, to where he was. Just as I reached his side the fire fighters were pulling him out of the metal ruins. I finally got to see him properly; his face had many bleeding scratches and his arms were cut in multiple places but nothing too deep from what I could see apart from one cut. It was rich in colour and still had blood pouring out but he didn't seem to care too much. Once he'd scanned over his injures he looked up and found my eyes.

He hobbled over to me instantly "(Y/N), thank god you're alive." I was wrapped around his familiar arms and felt myself starting to return back to normal. I pushed my face into his chest and allowed a few tears to exit as he tightly gripped my back and curled his fingers through my locks. I gripped onto his back, slightly digging my nails in, to secure myself to him, and it seemed he didn't feel it or just didn't care.

Sobbing through my tears, I finally spoke. "I'm so glad you're here now. I was so scared Si...so scared. I couldn't see, or remember anything", I said between uneven breaths, looking at his damaged face as he kept his hand in my hair and on my back. His eyes were moist; no drops fell until my voice cracked half way through my sentence and then only a couple. I now had shallow streams flowing myself.

"Don't cry (Y/N). I'm here now so don't be upset", Simon said as he now held a hand under my chin instead of my hair, tilting me up to him then slowly removing that hand to my forehead once he knew he had my gaze. He smoothly moved his fingers over my skin until an intense pain shot from my head making me wince and fold my head in reflex which made my head ache more. "Oh god I'm so sorry (Y/N). I didn't mean to", Simon apologetically said.

"It's fine Si, I didn't even know it was there myself", I replied calmly. "Is is bad?"

"I don't think so but I'm not a doctor. I do know it could worse though", he answered taking a closer examination. I upturned the corner of my lips in response and out of the corner of my eye I spotted the female paramedic from earlier. She was advancing our way in a strong march.

"I think I have to leave now", I told Simon as I looked over my shoulder to her now steps away and he followed my gaze.

"Yeah you might need to get your head seen too", he replied partly sarcastically just before she stepped right up to me. He hugged me tighter than before and then planted a sweet kiss on my lips, not pulling away until she started to speak.

"Miss, enough is enough now, you really need to get a scan", she demanded angered. I nodded to her in agreement.

"Doesn't he need to come too, have you seen his arm?" I replied cheekily holding Simon's hand and raising it high enough for her to see the deep wound. Her expression spoke her words for her, agreeing with my question. We all turned and headed for the ambulance.

I kept hold of Simon's hand as we very slowly walked, still examining the crash scene. I hadn't even looked at the mess properly myself let alone Simon. The car that had hit us looked almost impeccable apart from the front which was now crumpled from where it had collided with our car sideways, denting the whole of the left side. Shattered glass lay gaunt upon the bonnet- one of the only parts of our car still in tacked. The whole roof was now millions of destroyed metal pieces thrown across the tarmac. Basically the car was now useless. Dented, broken and unfixable but somehow we were alive. I could see Simon's eyes were distraught as we advanced.

"Hey at least we still have our lives", I said soothingly trying to be positive.

"Yeah you're right (Y/N), cars can be replaced but people can't", he replied with squeezing my hand happily then pulling me closer to him. He ran his hand up and down my arm; I gripped onto his torso with my hands and then we boarded the ambulance alive, safe and together.

A little different to my usual stories but hopefully you enjoyed and I have no experience with this luckily so it's probably not very accurate but it is only a story and I'll stop now.
