This is a sneak peek part to my story 'Stay or go' that I though worked well as an imagine.

"Can we just stroll through the park for a while? I mean it's actually dry and quite sunny for once," I respond turning my gaze to the window. The sun isn't setting yet, but I know it will be in the next few hours and through the shrubbery at the bottom of the garden, the golden sun is already on the decline. Hopefully a beautiful sunset will follow.

"Sure." He drags me back from the window with his voice."Ready to go now?"

"I guess so," I repliy happily, a smile pretuding. He grabs his phone and keys from his desk before taking a couple of paces back over to me.

"Come on then," Simon says whilst taking my hand in his and briskly making me follow him out of the house and down the driveway.

"Simon! Please slow down a bit my legs are only half the lenght of yours," I moan as I try to maintain his pace, but still lack behind, until he stops, almost making me bump into him. He takes a towering step towards me; I steal a quick glance before adverting my eyes back out in front of me only for my chin to be brought up and my lips to be softly tickled and my left hand squeezed.

I feel my cheeks blushing immensly as Simon walks side by side with me the whole way to the park with quiet conversation here and there. The air is warm against my face and the slowly setting sun still pangs out enough radiation to keep my body temperature above chilling even through the brisk breeze that threatens to colden me.

Lightly giggling as I stroll through the path, my feet find a pile of browning leaves that just scream to be kicked. Once. Twice. On my third attempt I find my feet leave the ground as I'm picked up from behind, about my waist, and spun around in a circle a couple of times. After two pivots I'm gently placed back down onto the gravelly pathway facing a smiley Simon. He takes my chin into his hand, lyres my eyes up to his and then pecks my lips softly. I more than happily kiss him back and then pull away after. "Race you to the swings," I announce whilst I start jogging in the direction of the swings already, ziping past Simon in the process.

"Hey!" Is all I hear from behind me, and I don't dare look back but my guess is he looks quite frustrated and moppey. Shame.

My hands grip onto the cool metal chains on either side of the seat, slowing down my impact in the process and allowing me to catch my breath as I situate myself down on the rubber rectangle that views the rest of the park including Simon who's now walking right up to me. "I win."

"Not fair, you had a head start," he complains as he plonks himself down in the seat to my left. I turn to face him with a 'whatever' expression on my face. "Childish babe," he adds on. I just roll my eyes.

"I'm no more childish than you are Simon," I say unironically as I start to move my legs back and forth on the swing, elevating myself slightly. The view in front of me makes me smile widely; a couple of late afternoon families are enjoying the weather just as much as we are. The three little boys chase each other round to the top of the slide, competeing to travel down first whilst the two small girls waddle round the base just talking to each other – their parents closely watching them from a few feet away on the benches.

"What are you smirking at?" Simon questions dragging the red in my cheeks to the surface and my eyes off the playground scene onto him.

"Nothing, just smiling," I weakly reply through a smile.

"Lier," he instantly projects back through a laugh.

"Fine, I was, but whatever I tell you you'll think's false," I respond, firmly placing my feet back onto the concrete below.

"Try me." His face has a strong expression of sternness and he also stops swinging, placing his feet down and turns his body fully to mine, awaiting me to answer.

"Well I was just admiring the scene before my eyes and it made me smile. Alright?" He observes my eyes and face closely, leaning in a little before reclining.

"Okay, I believe you, but I also think there's more to it than that."

"Like what?" He leans back in, this time leaving less space between us.

"Like what?" He leans back in, this time leaving less space between us.

"The children," then he turns to face the playground where the kids are still playing, I look out for a second but then return my attention back to him, to observe his features and he meets mine at the same time except he smirks. "You want children?" He states loosely as a question more than anything.

"Maybe. I mean it would be nice to have my own offspring, my own family to love and care for but I guess I'm not fully decided yet, but I've still got time I guess," my gaze has now travelled back out where half the children are starting to leave.

"Well you don't have to decide now. For now we can be childish without responsibilities. Race you up the hill," Simon replies getting up off the swing, mimicking to run, but I just remain sat down. He doesn't run off though, he stays by my side. "Y/N you'll make a great mum one day, but for now relax. The time will come. You'll know when. Like now, I know that there's going to be a splendious sunset that I know you'll love to see at the top of the hill." He raises his eyebrow and outstretghs his hand for me to take.

Reluctantly I allow his hand to take hold of mine, pulling me off the swing in the process. I know deep down that he's right even if I won't admit it so I just walk side be side with him up the hill instead. Our arms brush past each others constantly until we reach the very top of the climb. I stare out into the horizon containing all the skyscrapers, high rise flats, and office buildings accompanied with monuments against the merging peachy backdrop as the golden sphere lowers its self behind brick and glass.

"Knew you'd want to see his," Simon quietly says from my left, but my attention remains glued to the scenery. I just smile in recognisition as a gast of warming air collides with my face and moves my hair around, creating an impaired mask for my eyes. I bring my hands up to rearrange my hair and tuck the strands behind my ears. I then hear russling and movement only to find Simon pitching himself down on the grass to my side. When he catches my gaze he pats the grass down in front of him; I make myself at home inbetween his outstretched legs and lean back against his chest as his arms come out and invite themselves around me. "Comfortable?" I giggle faintly.

"You?"

"I am now."

"What's that supposed to mean?"

"That I missed you, but now I have you again and I'm content once more."

I recline my head back so I can see his face; he makes it easier as he looks down at me, and when his head's close enough I peck his lips before refocusing on the sunset, resting my head onto his chest enjoying the pleasant evening.

Hope you enjoyed and thank you all so so much for 20K! and I'm really sorry to end on a saddened note but I need to take a break for a while as my A – level exams are taking over right now. Some of my exams are in 4 weeks time, and the rest in 8 weeks and I really need to focus and work on them, especially Art right now, as I have sooooo much to do.

I'll be back soon, and good luck to anyone else who has exams approaching.
