Hope you enjoy.

Dancing around the room, with my headphones plugged into my music, wasn't a daily occurrence but today I felt the need to. I was alone upstairs as the boys were recording downstairs giving me the perfect opportunity to mess around and not be embarrassed or picked on. I'd never do anything even slightly daring in front of them as I know I would be thoroughly mocked, even Simon would tease me about little things but I didn't really care too much from him however not even he had seen my dancing, if I could even call it that.

I leapt through the air as a cord was struck and stomped my feet heavily down as another note was hit, vibrating the whole floor. I quickly scanned the area just in case anyone happened to have intruded within those few seconds, and of course no one had so I went back to making a fool of myself. I pressed the screen for a new song to start playing and this time I couldn't help but sing along. My voice isn't the best but it's also not the worst; no one has heard me sing before.

I hesitantly started to sing, quieter than usual but as soon as the fantastic chorus hit my projection increased, followed by an air guitar. I moved about the room like I was being shocked by a taser, advancing into the on suite before pausing my guitar as a quieter verse blasted out of my headphones. I still continued to sing along and when the notes started to pick up I slid out of the bathroom, as I was only wearing socks not shoes and back out into the bedroom with my hands waving ridiculous about my head as Simon entered the room.

I paused my movements, before eventually flopping my arms back down to my sides like a sane person, while Simon just stared at me. I turned off my music, took off my headphones and then looked to him, finding this mouth lying half open and his eyes to be wider than usual. "Umm hi Simon, how did your recording go?" I asked trying to avoid the attention for as long as possible.

"Recording went fine, thanks for asking", he said suspiciously giving me the death stare and telling me I wasn't going to escape from a full explanation. "How has your dancing and singing gone?" My cheeks turned the brightest shade of red they knew and my head dropped because of them.

"The dancing was alright but the singing was a little better than usual I think", I say embarrassed. The room stayed silent for a few seconds absorbing the tension.

"Only a little, your singing was amazing (Y/N)! Your dancing wasn't great I'll agree but I didn't even know you could sing even just a bit", an ecstatic Simon said as he ran up to me, picked me up and spun me round before placing me back down. Once he'd dropped me down, he just gazed at me for a while with a huge smile before leaving a kiss on my lips.

"You really think I can sing?" I asked questionably, not believing his words. I looked up to find his large eyes questioning my question.

"Yes, I do, honestly", a still very energetic Simon replied making my toned down cheeks spark up again into flames and his grip around my waist tightened, his fingers diving into my skin.

"I don't really know what to say so will a thank you do?" I weakly asked.

"You don't really need to say anything (Y/N) as it's a part of you", Simon replies taking a hand from my waist and placing it under my chin. My heart started beating louder as he spoke, I uncontrollably had moved closer and now I felt the balls of my feet rise. Next thing I knew I was kissing Simon's lips and he was kissing me back. I questioned myself. Why was I like this, he'd just found out one of my biggest secrets and now I was making out?

Had I really intended for him to find out, otherwise would I have even risked singing at all? I'd scanned the room to see if he'd entered; maybe I had wanted him to find out and that's why I looked, really hoping to find him instead of not. My lips were racing too much for me to even start to think straight.

I pulled away, just before I softly left my lips on Simon's left cheek, leaving a warm imprint and searching his face. He was still buzzing but had calmed down quite a bit; his eyes were bright as always and his pupils weren't as strained but they were fully focused on me. A hand made its way through my hair, pulling the hair backwards until it rested behind my face before enlacing its way into my hand. His other hand was freely hanging until he reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone.

I watched him unlock it intently; moving his finger smoothly to where his music was located and pausing before he pressed play. Looking directly at me he asked, "Want to listen to this?" I glanced back down at the screen for a split second, then straight back up to his eyes.

"What do you mean by listen?" I sneakily asked.

"Listening to you singing", he replied with a monotone but hopeful eyes. I however rolled mine and dropped my head to the side trying to hide a small smile, but failed instantly as a hand found my chin and proceeded to lift it, exposing my face, forcing me to face him. A smile crept across his face after seeing mine, "I'll take that as a yes?"

I nodded in response before sternly saying, "But you have to join in and promise not to tell anyone."

"Just so I can hear your voice again I will and I'm keeping you to me, no one will know. It will stay our little secret", he said whilst maintaining eye contact. He tapped my nose at the last part; I felt my cheeks warm up making me duck my head which was soon lifted once again by my chin and a pair of heated lips kissed mine before parting slowly as music started to leave his phone and I gave in to the soft sounds.

Not great but I have better longer, ones soon.
