Kat's POV

We actually just kissed and it was amazing. Being in his arms is the best feeling ever.

Him being a vampire doesn't change anything. But his parents are going to scare the crap out of me.

"Hey so I have a question for you," Ethan said.

"What's that question then."

"Well... will you um... go..."

I stopped him by kissing him.

"And that's a yes," I said as I pulled away.

"I thought you were going to say no. Your amazing." He pulled me into a hug and kissed the top of my head.

"Your amazing Ethan. And I promise I'm not scared of you at all."

"God I wish I had you 100 years ago."

"Why? I'm here now aren't I."

"Ya but I went a little crazy 100 years ago and if you where there I think I would have been a different person."

"When did you change? I mean like when did you stop the craziness."

"16 years ago."

"Oh."

"Alright let's stop going back in time. Let's go to your house my parents are going to be home any minute and if they see you.."

"Ok. Let's go then."

He picked me up and we went downstairs. He was about to open the door but it opened and an older man was standing there.

"Father what are you doing home so early," Ethan said pulling me closer to him.

"Well me and your mother got off of work early. We were hungry so we came home," his dad looked me at me, "and who do we have here."

"Father your not going to touch her. I don't care if your hungry go get a blood bag from downstairs."

"What's wrong with just one bit."

"NO YOU WILL NOT HURT HER. SHE IS MY GIRLFRIEND."

I looked up at him shocked but happy.

"Oh really."

"Yes."

"Where's Grayson?"

"He's at some girls house."

"What's your name," He asked me.

"No don't tell him," Ethan said and then ran out the door with me in his arms.

"Ethan this isn't over.  When you get home we are talking about this."

We were far way from him house and we were in the woods now. He stopped and put me down.

"I'm so sorry my dad thinks all humans are food."

"I think he now I was scared because my heart is still beating really fast."

"Ya I can hear it. But your ok now. He can't and will not hurt you."

"E let's just go back to my house."

"Ok beautiful hop on my back."

I hopped on his back and he grabbed my legs. I put my head in his neck. Ethan chuckled before speeding off toward my house. I never told him where my house is but somehow he made it there. I jumped down and opened the door. Ethan stopped at the door and looked at me.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"You have to invite me in."

I chuckled, "Ethan you may come in."

He walked in and grabbed my face and kissed me. "Kathryn Layward I think I'm in love but I just meet you how is this possible."

"I asked myself the same question Ethan Dolan."

"Honestly if my parents weren't so crazy for human blood I would ask them."

"Maybe you can sneakily ask."

"How?"

"Say like I meet this girl and I think I'm in love with her but we only meet a day ago, what does this mean."

"I can only ask my mom because I screamed at my dad today."

"Very true. But I think that's the best way to ask."

"Thanks beautiful." He kissed my forehead and we walked upstairs to my room.
