Ethan's POV

Two months later

"Kat come on we're going to be late," I yelled up the stairs. 

"Ethan I think we will be fine. We're just going to your mom's house for the check up."

"We told her we will be there at 12:30. It's 12:35 now."

Kat started walking down the stairs. "I'm pregnant I think your mom will understand why we are late."

"Just hurry your little butt up. I want to know want gender there's two are," I leaned down and kissed her stomach. I felt one of them kick where my hand was.

"I think they are exited. They've been kicking all morning."

"Come on mama."

She walked out the door and I grabbed the keys. Before walking out the door I looked into Grayson's room which was right next to the kitchen. He was sleeping and next to him I can see Faith sleeping as well. She mostly lives here now. Kat loves having her cousin here and I don't mind. I got to know her more. Grayson is completely in love with her. And I can tell there connection for each other is strong.

"E you coming," Kat called from outside.

I walked out the house and to the car. I helped Kat into the car then got in the drivers seat. I started the car and drove to my mom's house.

"E you ready to know the genders."

"I don't know babe. I mean I am but I hope it's a girl and a boy. I want a little girl to spoil and I want a little boy so he can play football."

"What if it's two girls. Or two boys."

"I wouldn't care."

We pulled up and Cameron was already outside. Kat got out and gave her a hug.

"Oh my gosh look at you Kat," Cameron said.

Cam hadn't seen her in a month. Kat has gotten so big.

"I know I'm a house."

"No you look adorable."

"I can agree to that," I said as I put my hands on her stomach.

"Whatever you guys say. Hey Where's your mom?"

"She inside. She can't wait to find out so I bet you guys are just the same."

"We are."

We walked inside and mom was sitting on the couch. I walked over and she stood up and hugged me.

"I've missed you. Where's Grayson, doesn't he usually come," my mom said.

"He does but he's at home," I said.

"Yeah with my cousin in bed," Kat said.

"Kat shut up. Your cousin is his mate," I said.

"I know and I love that. But it's weird having my best friend and my cousin dating."

"Yeah I guess."

"Kat come here let me see these little ones," my mom said.

"Mrs. Dolan they've been kicking all morning.  I think they're a little exited."

"Kat what do I always say. Please call me Lisa or mom. Your like my daughter."

Kat just laughed and then gave her a hug.

"Come on. Lay down and pull your shirt up."

Kat did as told and layed her head in my lap and pulled her shirt up. I was stroking her hair the hole time.  Mom put her hands on kat's stomach and closed her eyes. I really don't understand how she does this. I've watched her do it so many times on people and never understood. A smile grew to her face. Kat looked up at me.

"Mom why you smiling," I asked.

"Ethan I'm smiling because I'm going to have a healthy granddaughter and a healthy grandson."

"A boy and a girl!" Kat said.

"Yes."

I leaned down and kissed Kat. Cameron walked in with a smile.

"I over head I'm getting a niece and nephew."

"Yes you did Cam," Kat said.

"I'm so happy for you guys."

Kat got up and hugged Cam and I hugged my mom.

"Mom what is dad going to say."

"Well for one he still thinks Kat is human. But I'm not quite sure honey."

"He doesn't know Kat's one of us. I thought you would have told him when we left."

"I forgot to. I told him you ran away with Kat and Gray went with you. He was furious."

"I'm going to call him tonight."

"Okay e tee wee tee."

"Mom stop calling me that."

"What's wrong E tee wee tee," Kat said from behind me.

"Kat if you weren't pregnant right now-"

"ETHAN," Kat cut me off.

"Sorry."

"Hey don't you want to go home and tell Faith and Grayson."

"Sure."

"Wait Kat?" Cam said.

"Yeah what's up."

"Is your cousin really a werewolf."

"Yes she is."

"And Gray is her mate."

"Most definitely yes. Why."

"It's unheard of. A werewolf and a vampire being mates."

"It's was unheard of for a human and a  vampire and look where we are now."

"She had a point," I said.

"Kat is right Cameron. It's fine Grayson is finally happy after so long," mom said.

"Whatever. The twins are very strange so it fits them," Cameron said as she walked away.

"It's fine just ignore her," mom said.

"Did she just call me strange," Kat said.

"Kat don't listen to her," I said, "She's just mad that her little brothers got love and she doesn't."

"Ethan," mom said.

"It's true."

"Come on babe. I don't want Cameron coming back in here and you to fighting."

"Bye mom."

I hugged her and left. Kat was still saying goodbye. I turned on the car. Then turned the AC on. Kat walked out and she hopped in.

"I love your mom."

"Yeah she's one of a kind."

"Ethan. Are you okay."

"Yeah. Cameron just got me mad when she called you strange.  Like I don't care if she calls me strange but when she said that this fits me and Grayson... I was done. She just doesn't call my fiance strange."

"E calm down. This not worth getting mad over."

I looked her in the eyes and she put her hand on my cheek.

"Baby your eyes are red calm down," she said.

"Shit."

I shut my eyes and tried to calm myself down. I felt Kat lean in and kiss me, which helped a lot.

"Better?" She said.

I open my eyes, "Yeah I think so."
