Grayson's POV

Did E really just propose out of the blue. I'm shook. Kat looks so exited. Her dad is letting this happen too.  We'll all I have to say is that I can't wait to be an uncle and have Kat finally be my little sister.

Ethan's POV

"Sir I was really nice meeting you," I walked over to Mr. Layward and shook his hand.

"Ethan it was nice meeting you too. And I hope I get an invitation to this wedding."

"Dad I promise you will," Kat said as she hugged him.

"I'm going to miss you baby," Mr. Layward said.

"I'm going to miss you too daddy."

I walked back to the car and Kat finished saying goodbye to her dad. Gray already was in the car so I just hopped into the back.

"I'm surprised E," Gray said.

"What do you mean."

"You proposed out of no where. You don't even have a ring."

"I'll get one with her so I don't mess up what she wants."

"True. But still mom has no clue neither does her mom."

"G I'll tell them later."

"Ok E."

Kat hopped into the car and sat next to me. I moved over a little more and she put her head on my shoulder.

"That's Gray for making this happen," Kat said.

"No problem Kat and I'm happy for you two."

"Thanks Gray," I said.

Grayson drove home and when we pulled up my mom was sitting on the porch.

"You gonna tell her," Gray said.

"Yeah let's go Kat."

I got out then helped Kat out. She grabbed my hand and we walked to my mom.

"Hey mom. We have something to tell you."

"Don't tell me... you proposed!"

"How did you know?"

"Kat's all smiley and just by the way you came up here."

"Well how do you feel about it," Kat said.

"I'm so exited." My mom jumped out of her seat and hugged Kat.

Cameron ran outside the door. "What?! Did I just here you correctly. You proposed."

"Yup."

"Ring?"

"No. Kat we'll go and get one tomorrow."

"Ok babe," Kat said.

Kat stayed outside with my mom and Cameron. I walked inside and grabbed the computer. I decided to look at apartments. We only needed 2 bedrooms. Ours and the kids. I found a apartment right down the block from here in the city.

"E what are you doing,"Kat said from behind me.

"Looking at apartments."

"Hey if want to help." She sat down next to me.

"I found one down the block. My only concern is when the kids come of age we need to move out of the city."

"E I think we should just get a house instead of an apartment."

"Maybe that's better."

"Yeah so change what we're looking at to houses dummy."

I kissed her cheek and continued looking.

"Oh I like that one."

It was a beach house that was down the block again. The trees were beautiful around it.  2 bed 3 bath.

"I think this is the one."

"Me too E," she took my hand and kissed it.

"Alright we'll finish all of the stuff tomorrow after we get your ring. Let's go to bed."

"Yeah I'm exhausted." She yawned and layed her head on my shoulder.

"I guess I'm carrying you."

"Yup."
