Ethan's POV

I just did that. I just drained Kat's blood. She's going to be asleep for days. All I can see is her pale body. I just want to kiss her. I can't believe I went through with this.

"Gray you can come out now," I yelled.

"It's done. She's drained."

"Yes Grayson. Don't remember me."

"Bro you're going to be seeing her like this for 5 days. Get used to it."

"I can't just get used to my mate sitting there limp."

"E this was her decision not yours. She wants to be with you forever. Be happy. She'll wake up in a few days."

"Yeah you're right Gray thanks man."

Kat started to move in her seat.

"She shouldn't even be moving. Grayson what's going on."

"I don't know. I've never done this."

"Me neither."

Kat started to mumble my name. I ran over and pulled her into my arms.

"Kat I'm right here your okay."

"Ethan it burns," she mumbled.

"It's okay baby. Just stick with me."

"I love you."

"I love you too gorgeous."

She went limp in my arms.

"Grayson what the hell did I do."

"I think that's part of this E."

"No I don't. Gray she was talking to me."

"I'll call mom when we land."

"Thanks Gray."

The pilot told us to buckle up because we were landing in 5 minutes. I sat across from Kat just in case she does wake up again. I buckled her in the sat down in my seat.

We landed and Grayson got off the plain. I heard him get on the phone with mom.

"Mom Kat woke up and started talking to Ethan. What do we do," Grayson said.

"You need to get her blood."

"Why mom. Shouldn't she be in like a coma?"

"She should but I just felt that she wouldn't have a normal transformation. Get her blood. I can tell you right now she will wake up in a few hours. She is strong Grayson."

"What? Mom I am so confused. How is she waking up in a few hours?"

"She's not a normal human. She is mated to a vampire. Humans are not mated to vampires. So she is special. Tell Ethan she is strong and that he is lucky to have such an amazing girl. Now I need to go Grayson. Your father is in the other room."

"Alright love you mom."

I picked up Kat and walked off the plain.

"What does mom mean she's strong," I asked Grayson.

"I don't know Ethan."

"I just want answers."

"Me too bro."

Grayson grabbed all the luggages and I called for a Uber. The Uber came 5 minutes later. Grayson sat in the front and I sat Kat on my lap. She squirmed and I got worried.

"Sir can you please got to the house like super fast," I asked.

The driver looked at me and Kat and he nodded.

"Kat please stay asleep. We are almost at the house," I whispered in her ear. Kat moved her face a slightly opened her eyes, "No Kat please don't wake up."

"Ethan it hurts," she whispered/whimpered. I feel so bad. She shouldn't be awake.

"Kat I know. Please close your eyes."

"Ethan I can't." Her eyes were bright red.

"Look at me," I moved her face to look at me, "kiss me," I whispered.

She kissed me and it was like the kiss before I bit her. Kat bit my lip before pulling away.

"Ethan," then she passed out.

"Grayson we seriously need to get her home."

"Sir please stop here," the car stopped, "Ethan run Kat to the house. NOW."

I got, picked up Kat then started to run as fast as I could.

I ran right up to the beach house. I opened the door and put Kat on the couch. I ran down to the basement and grabbed a blood bag. I ran back upstairs and Kat was standing on the balcony looking at the ocean.

"Kat..." She turned around and smiled, "drink this." I gave her the blood bag. She drank it in a blink of an eye.

"How long was I out."

"3 hours."

"How."

"We don't really know. My mother said that your really strong and that your special," I cupped her cheeks, "You mean everything to me and this worries me. You should be awake and walking. Trust me I love seeing you here, but it's not natural."

"Ethan I'm scared."

"I am too princess. We will figure this out."

I kissed the top of her head.
