All morning the babies wouldn't stop crying. They woke up the whole house. Kat was the only one in there. I was packing and so was Cameron.
"Ethan come here," Kat thought.
"What's up," I thought back.
"Your son won't stop crying."
I got up from the floor and went to the nursery.
"Give me my baby boy," I said.
"Take him. Allyson is asleep and I don't want him to wake her."
She gave me Ethan and he stopped crying.
"Does he only like you or something," Cameron said from the door way.
"Yeah. He only likes daddy," Kat said.
"Could you blame the kid. I'm amazing," I said.
"Keep telling yourself that sweetheart."
"Alright."
After an hour Ethan and Allyson were asleep. Kat and I walked out of their room. We walk to our room and lay down on the bed.
"Wanna go down to the beach," I asked.
"Sure let me just put shorts and a shirt on."
"Okay."
She ran into the closet. Then 5 minutes later she came.
"Took you long enough," I said laughing.
"I could find my shorts okay."
"Alright let's go."
I grabbed her hand and we walked outside. We told Cam and she was fine with the kids for a few. Kat ran in front of me when we got to the stairs. I watched as her long beautiful blonde hair swayed. I ran after her and grabbed her waist. She starts laughing as I put her on my shoulders.

"Ethan if you drop me in that water, you're sleeping in the babies room tonight."
"Oh someone doesn't like the water huh." I walked closer to the water.
"Ethan don't!" I stuck my feet in.
"What if I just went for a swim right now."
"You better be putting me down first."
"Yeah you see that's a lot of work."
"ETHAN!"
"Ssshh Kat you'll wake up the kids with your yelling."
"Ethan shut up and put me down."
"Fine."
I reached up and grabbed her waist and picked her down. She was standing in front of me with her arms crossed. I grabbed her hands and pulled her into a hug. She started to relax in my arms. I kissed her forehead. She looked up and kissed me. I pulled her closer so she can't pull away. I held her face while she arms are around my waist. Kat and i were interrupted by a loud voice.
"ETHAN DOLAN AND KATHRYN LAYWARD WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE," a familiar voice said.
Kat and I look over from where it's coming from. There standing there is Sophia from school.
"What are you doing here," Kat said.
"I'm on vacation with my family. What about you guys."
"Just visiting family. But we are leaving next week."
"You guys haven't been to school in a while. Why is that."
"Kat was sick for a while. So I took care of her," I said.
"Oh that's sweet. So where's Grayson he hasn't been home too."
"He's home now with his girlfriend."
"GIRLFRIEND."
"Yeah Gray has moved on from you. Sorry."
"Well his lose."
"No actually your lose. Gray is the best man I've ever meet. He deserves to be happy. Not be miserable with you," Kat said.
"Oh come down little vampy."
"What the. How do you know."
"Kat she's a vampire to," I said.
"Why didn't you ever tell me."
"I don't know."
"Yeah and I know you weren't sick idiots."
"What am I supposed to do go back to school a new vamp and kill almost the whole school."
"Kat sweetie. Do you not know that that whole school is vampires and wearwolfs. You were the only human in the school."
"Really."
"Yeah dumb ass."
"Hey don't call her that," I said.
"What you going to do E."
"Don't call me E. You're not one of my friends or my family."
"Whatever."
She walked away from us.
"I hate her," Kat said.
"Me too."
"Let's go back up to the house."
"Alright."
"Carry me up."
"Get on."
She hopped on my back. I ran up to the the house. When we got back up the babies were crying. Cameron was holding both of them and she looked like she was stressed.
"Cameron, why didn't you call us backup."
"You guys were talking to that girl Gray used to hook up with. I didn't want her to know about the kids."
"It's fine if she knows. I don't care."
"But when you go back to school people would have known."
"Thanks Cam. Here I'll take Allyson."
"Yeah I can take Ethan," I said.
"Here."
Cameron handed us our kids. They stopped when they were in our arms.
"I don't get it," Cameron said walking out of the room. We both start laughing so hard.
