Ethan's POV

"Mom what the heck," I said guarding Kat.

"I should be asking you that. What do you thing your doing."

"Nothing just leave us alone."

"Ethan I'm not going anywhere until you tell me what's going on and why there's a human in the house."

"I'm going upstairs. Come one Kat." I grabbed Kat's hand and ran past my mom to my room.

"So that's your mom?" Kat said.

"Yeah isn't she a joy."

"Oh Yeah... are you going to continue what we where doing before she came home."

"Yeah but Kat you have to call your parents and tell them your not going to see them for a while."

"Why?"

"Kat your going to be in a coma for 5 days then I have to get you to control yourself."

"Ok what should I tell them."

"Tell them I'm taking you on vacation."

"I haven't told them about you."

"Well tell them then say I'm taking you on vacation because I will after you learn to control yourself."

"Seriously."

"Yeah I was thinking about it. So why not."

"Ok I'll be right back." She walked into my bathroom to call her parents. I walked into Grayson's room.

"Dude your seriously going to turn her," Grayson said.

"Yeah."

"Bro I can't believe you said yes."

"She convinced me. She said that we would be together forever. It would have happened sooner or later."

"True because you guys are mates."

"Dude I never told you. Did you really listen to my conversation with mom the other day."

"Ya I did."

"ETHAN," Kat screamed. I ran into my room and saw my mom holding Kat's neck.

"Mom put her down."

"Why so you can just go and disrespecting me again."

"Mom."

"Ethan if you haven't invited her over this wouldn't have happened."

"What wouldn't have happened mother," Grayson said from behind me.

"This," my mother pulled Kat to her mouth and stuck he fangs in her neck.

"MOM STOP."

She pulled away, "why Ethan you were about to do this a minute ago."

"Mom please just put Kathryn down. You just hungry let's go and get you a blood bag," Gray said.

"Oh sweetie why would I want a blood bag when I have fresh blood right here."

"Mom please just leave her alone. If you don't I will hurt you and I don't want to hurt you," I said.

"Ethan what could you do to me."

"Mother don't test me. Your holding my mate in your hand. What if Kat was dad and you were in my situation, would you do the same thing as me."

She paused and looked at Kat. "I'm not 100% sure I like you Kathryn."

"I can tell Mrs. Dolan," Kat said.

My mom put Kat down and Kat ran into my arms.

"She's not staying in this house while her transformation," my mom said.

"Then where the hell am I supposed to bring her."

"I don't care. Anywhere but here."

"I know where," Gray said.

"Where?" Kat asked.

"Florida."
