Last Chapter

Ethan's POV

5 years later

Kat and the kids were out at the store. I was home alone with Grayson and his son Kendall. Kendall is one year younger then the twins. Him and Ethan are so close.

Faith is 7 months pregnant. She's having a girl. Fai and Gray live in there own house. They moved out went Kendall was born.

"Uncle E can I go in the pool," Kendall asked.

"I'm fine with it. Just ask you dad."

"Go ahead bud. I just need to be outside with you."

We all go outside. Ken is ready to jump in when Ethan ran from behind him and pushed him in.

"ETHAN," Ken screamed.

I walked over to Gray, "why does he sounds like you when you're mad at me."

Gray just starts laughing.

"Come on boys play nice," Allyson says from the back door.

"Ally I'll come over there and carry you in myself," Ken screamed.

"Ha comedy," Ally yelled then ran upstairs.

"Nice try boys," Kat said, "But can't get her today." She walked over to me.

"Hey beautiful.," I said giving her a kiss. She sat down on my lap.

"Eeeewwww,c Ken and Ethan yelled.

"Oh shut up you two."

Ethan ran inside to get his bathing suit on. Kat was playing with my hair.

"How you feeling," I asked. The past couple of days she hasn't felt good.

"Not any better. I can't even get sick."

"Yeah she's right vampires can't get sick," Grayson said.

"I know. But it's not like you throwing up. Then you would know if you were pregnant. But your not. You just not feeling right. Right baby," I asked.

"Right. I keep getting these headaches and I'm just really tired all day."

"Babe it's probably a 24 hour thing. Just go upstairs and sleep. I'll check in on you in a few hours."

"Okay.  Love you." She got up and kissed me.

"Love you too."

She walked inside. Grayson was just looking at Kendall making sure he was okay.

"Do you think I should be worried."

"Worried about what E? What your wife isn't feeling 100%. She's a girl. You can never tell if a girl is okay or not."

"GRAY... seriously."

"Alright Alright. I think it's just hormones bro. I could be that time of the month. She did say she wasn't throwing up so thats that."

"Yeah you're right. Thanks man." 

"No problem."

I got up and went into the kitchen. I grabbed a blood bag, poured it into a cup and went to see Kat. She wasn't in our room so I checked the bathroom. The door was shut and I heard a noise inside. I knocked then went in.

"Baby are you okay."

When I walked it Kat was on the floor throwing up.

"I guess you are throwing up now," I said.

"Ethan shut up. Run to my bag and get the pregnancy test in there."

"When did you get one."

"Today when I was out with the kids."

I grabbed the test and ran back to her. She did the test and we waited for 30 minutes. After that we looked. Kat looked first. Her face lit up. She stated to cry.

"Positive?" I asked.

"Positive!" She jumped into my arms and I kissed her cheek.

"Mommy... Daddy. What's all the screaming," Ally said walking into the bathroom.

"Baby. You're going to have a brother or a sister," Kat said going down to her level.

"Really!"

"Yeah," I said.

"Oh my goodness. I'm soo happy."

"We are too love. Now will you come with us to tell the rest of the family."

"Yeah."

We all walked downstairs to the backyard. Ethan and Kendall were in the pool. Grayson and Faith are both sitting on the couch.

"Hey boys get out for a second," Kat said.

"Whhhhyyyy," Ethan whined.

"Just do what your mother told you to do,"I told him.

They got out and grabbed a towel.

"What's up," Faith said.

"Well.... Kat's pregnant," I said placing my hand on her stomach.

"NO WAY!" Faith said.

"Yup,"Kat said.

"Really mommy. There's a baby in your belly," Ethan said.

"Yup."

"Why aren't you as big as auntie Faith."

"Because the baby needs to grow."

"Weird." He ran back into the pool.

"Congrats Kat," Grayson said coming over and giving her a hug.

"Thanks Gray."

"Ethan come here," Faith said from the couch, "I want to give you a hug but don't feel like getting up."

I laughed as I walked over to her and gave her a hug.

"Congrats man,"Gray said.

"Thanks man."

"Ethan I'm going to go take a nap," Kat said.

"Okay I'm actually going to join."

"Bye guys."

We walked upstairs. Kat plopped on the bed. I layed on her stomach.

"I don't get how my mom can hear babies this early."

"Really. I can hear." 

"What?! You couldn't hear the twins."

"I guess I developed it when I'm have a second child."

"You're too cute."

"Yeah I know."

"You know what I just realized. Now that we have the mark. I can feel your pain."

"Oh this is going to be interesting during labor." Kat started to laugh.

"Oh no."

Now if she falls I'll be there to pick her back up. We both fell asleep moments later. I was still in the same position. Kat's hand was in my hair.

I freaken love my life.
