Ethan's POV

I told Kat to go and get clothes for about 2 or 3 months from her house. She left and I decided to talk to my mother again. After Gray said we could go to Florida my mother went downstairs to cool down I hope. I found her over a bottle of wine and crying. Even though she just almost killed my mate, I still love my mother.

"Mom what's wrong?"

"You kids don't know anything behind those doors."

"Mom what do you mean."

"Your father. He's been sleeping around."

I sat there for a second then through the papers that were on the counter across the room. "Why haven't you told any of us."

"It's just started went you left the other day with Kat. He stormed out of the house and left then never came pack until 5 hours after you left."

"Mom I'm so sorry it's my fault."

"This is not your fault baby."

"Yes it is. He stormed out after I left... he's cheating on his freaking mate. Is something wrong with him." I through a glass plait at the wall.

"Ethan stop it. Go be happy with Kat. I'll figure it out. Thank you baby for worrying about me." She put her hand on my left cheek then kissed the right.

"I love you mom. Even though you hate Kat. I still love you."

"I don't hate her Ethan."

"Mom you almost ripped her throat out a minute ago."

"Your father is inside my mind telling me to kill her. I actually like her... a lot."

"Really."

"Yes."

"Can she stay here then."

"No you guys still have to go away because your father will rip her throat out while she is transforming."

"Okay," I turned around and was about to walk out of the kitchen, "If anything happens just come down to Florida."

"Thanks Ethan but your father would follow me down and I don't want he knowing where you and Kat are."

"Thank you mom."

"Now go pack I think Grayson is looking for an appointment for you guys to stay at."

"Okay. I should probably check on him." I kissed the top of her head and then walked up to Grayson's room.

"E I found something we can stay at for 4 months," Grayson said.

"Awesome."

"Yeah its a two bed. But I don't think you guys care that you get to share a bed." He winked.

"Shut up man."

"I need to do that."

"Yeah sure you did."

"I already payed for it just go pack and then we can get on the plain in an hour."

"Thanks man. You know you didn't have to come."

"I want to come. Kat's my friend and your my brother. I don't want to leave you to help her alone."

"Thanks Gra," I walked over and hugged him, "Alright. Pack I need to do that and call Kat to get here."

"Okay."

I went to my room and texted Kat.

Ethan: hey beautiful. You almost ready.

Kat: yeah my dad is dropping me off now.

Ethan: okay I'll see you in a minute. Just come straight up to my room. I'm packing.

Kat: okay.

I throw my phone on my bed then got a suitcase and placed it on my bed. I didn't care what I packed.  I just throw everything into a bag and then went to my bathroom and got all my toiletries. I heard the door open to my room and Kat walked in.

"Hi," she said as she walked over and gave me a hug.

"Hey beautiful. So you ready."

"Yeah."

"Gray got us a private plain so we can do it on the plain."

"What would the pilot say when your doing it."

"Gray is going to compel them so they won't say anything."

"Wow you guys have this planed out pretty good."

"Yup just for my princess." I kissed the top of her head then walked to my bed to put my bag in the suitcase. I zipped it up the placed it on the floor.

"So your ready now."

"Yeah pretty much and I think Grayson is too." 

"You've got that right," Grayson said.

"Let's go then."

I grabbed my suitcase and wheeled it downstairs. Kat's bag was by the front door.

"Mom we're leaving," I yelled. She came walking in with her wine glass.

"I love you boys. And Kat I am so sorry. My husband has this tye to me and he hates you for some reason so it wasn't me when I literally almost killed you."

"Mrs. Dolan it's fine. I trust that you didn't mean to kill me. I wish I can spend more time here and get to know you."

"When you guys come back we'll have a girls day with Cameron."

"Definitely."

It's nice to see Kat and my mom getting along.

"Alright. We should go the car is here," Gray said.

"Mom I love you. Please call if anything happens."

"I will Ethan. Now go."

We went out to the car and I put the suitcases in the back. Kat sat in the back and Gray took the front seat. I got into the back with Kat. I pulled her closer to me and she layed her head on my lap. I heard her heart beat slow down and I could tell she was sleeping. I smiled at my sleeping princess.

About an hour later we were at the airport. I tapped Kat's head trying to wake her up but she didn't wake up. I lifted her up then carried her to the plain. I sat her in a seat were I could sit next to her. I buckled her in and she started to wake up.

"Hey beautiful. We are on the plain. Sleep for a few more minutes. I'll wake you up when we can do it. Okay."

She nodded and then went to back to sleep. Gray came into the plain and laughed.

"What?" I asked.

"Nothing. It's just funny seeing you into a girl so much."

"She's my mate dude. I can't just not be into my mate."

"True but it's weird."

"I know it's weird to say I found my mate."

"Yeah its me next."

I laughed then got in my seat.

About 15 minutes later we were in the air and we were aloud to take off our seat belts. I kissed Kat's cheek and she woke up.

"We in the air."

I nodded.

"Can we do it now."

I nodded again.

"I'm going into the bathroom. I don't want to watch this," Grayson said.

Once the door closed I got closer to Kat. I moved the hair away from her neck. Before I put my fangs in her neck I heard her say...

"I love you Ethan Dolan."

Then I did it.
