"Okay, turn on the movie." I commanded Ian as I started mixing the candies into the bowl. He nodded and pressed play.

"Done." He said. I poured us each a cup of soda and placed them on the table.

"Can you grab the drinks please?" I asked him. He nodded. I grabbed the big bowl of candies and sat on the couch. Ian followed with the Sprite.

"This is great." He said.

"Are you being sarcastic?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"No. Me and the guys never have quiet hang outs like this. It's always drinking and really loud yelling. This is nice." He said. I smiled.

"This is how I do things." I said. He smiled.

"Can we watch something else, though?" He asked. I rolled my eyes and nodded. I scrolled through Netflix, looking for something to watch.

"What about... do you watch stand up?" I asked him.

"Um, yeah. You do?" He asked.

"Eh. Let's watch Daniel Tosh." I said. He laughed.

"Okay." He chuckled.

"What?" I asked.

"You didn't really come off as someone who watches him." He laughed.

"I am an adult, you know." I told him as-a-matter-of-factly. He laughed more.

"So, no work tomorrow, huh?" He asked. I shook my head.

"I get weekends off." I said. He nodded.

"Do you like your job?" He asked. I nodded.

"I'm with my friends all day. It's great." I said. He laughed.

"Sounds cool." He said.

"Yeah, it is. What's it like being a YouTuber?" I asked him. He shrugged.

"It's a lot harder than people think. I mean, everyone thinks I'm some asshole who bullies people for a living. In a way, that's true. But it's so much harder than people give me credit for." He said. I nodded.

"Well, totally. It must be hard with people recognizing you on the street and stuff." I said. He nodded.

"I don't even mind that. It's not like I'm some A-list movie star. It's just, filming, hours of editing, and dealing with all that internet drama is hard. It's fucking bullshit." He said.

"Sounds it. But do you enjoy it?" I asked him, sipping my Sprite.

"I mean, yeah. It's fun." He said.

"Then keep doing it. Sometimes it's hard to find something you enjoy. You've found that. Unfortunately, not everything is oh so one-sided." I said sympathetically.

"You sound like if the old dude from "Karate Kid" was a white chick." He said with a laugh. I slapped his arm gently and popped a lemonhead into my mouth.

"So, what's it like dating Joji?" Ian asked awkwardly.

"He's an asshole." I said with a laugh. Ian chuckled.

"Fair enough." He said with a grin.

"I mean, seriously though? It's really nice. I feel safe with him. I can't seem to explain why. I just do. Sometimes, though, I don't get his sense of humor. Like, this morning. What the fuck is wrong with him?" I asked.
