Chapter Five

Sensei

Tenashiuta's POV

I sweated and breathed heavily and bled. Quickly, though, a blue glow replaced blood, and my wounds healed. I looked emotionlessly at myself and quickly sprouted wings, staining the ground with even more blood.

I took wing and sped right through a cloud- the lullaby-like music got louder- and into the next dimension. I dove down deeply and soared right through the roof of the academy before pulling up and flapping my wings heavily, causing heavy downdraft. I landed next to Naruto in the confusion that followed and took off Distortion.

Naruto turned and grinned at me. I tuned out of his long and a bit boring way of saying hello, but my head turned like everybody else's when two girls burst in the door.

They started squabbling about who got to sit next to this 'Sasuke' kid. I raised an eyebrow subtly and coughed to get their attention.

"Do I not exist?"

The pink haired girl, Sakura, used the confusion as an opprotunity to sit between me and Sasuke, much as I had used the downdraft.

Before more disputes could arise, Iruka came in and began announcing the teams. I didn't know anyone until he said, "Naruto Uzumaki, Sakura Haruno,"

Sakura slammed her head against the table and muttered, "I'm doomed," while Naruto jumped up in glee.

"Sasuke Uchiha,"

The roles were reversed.

"and Tenashiuta."

Naruto got up and cheered loudly. I gave a small smile, barely noticable, to show I, too, was happy.

(A.N.: I'm gonna put in random people's thoughts really quick)

Sasuke thought: Hmm, Tenashiuta? She looks strong... I need to beat her...

Naruto thought: Yeah! I'm in a team with Ashi-chan! Woot woot!

Sakura thought: Tenashiuta... she looks so pretty, and she's strong.... she'd better stay away from my Sasuke-kun!

All other boys besides Shino thought: SHE SMILLED! SO HOT!

Shino thought: I like bugs... (naww pshych!) He really thought: Hmm... My bugs say she's trustworthy...

All other girls besides Hinita thought: GRR!!!!!!!!!

Hinita thought: Tenashiuta-chan... I should get to know her...

Iruka thought: Doesn't she have a last name?

Ichigo thought: Wait a second! This isn't my show!

(Back to Tenashiuta's POV)

We were waiting for our new sensei to walk in when Naruto screamed, "That's it!" and slid a eraser into the door, wedging it so that it would fall if someone opened the door. "That's what he gets for being late! Beleive it!

Sakura scolded Naruto, but then a hand grasped the door. We all stared, waiting, and the sensei fell for it.

Naruto burst out laughing while Sakura apologized to sensei. 'Naruto is like Doragon... but Sakura is like Usagi...' I stopped thinking about that in time to hear sensei say, "My first impression of you is... I hate you."

He instructed us to go up to the roof, and, out of habit, I jumped out the window, but, just in time, I climbed, not flew. 'Close one...'

When we were all there, my team was on the steps, my sensei was against a wall, and I was sitting on the same wall, but far away from him.

"Let's introduce ourselves," he suggested.

"Like what? What do we say?" Sakura asked.

"Your name, likes, dislikes, hobbies, and dreams for the future."

"Why don't you go first sensei? To show us what to do."

"Who, me?" He pointed at himself. "I'm Kakashi Hatake. My likes and dislikes..."

'I don't feel like telling you that," I said along ing my mind. 'My dream for the future, never really thought about it. As for my hobbies, I have a lot of hobbies.'

Since I knew what they were going to say, I let myself get lost in my thoughts until Kakashi-sensei said, "How about you, on the wall?"

"I'm Tenashiuta. I like Naru-kun, and I dislike, clocks, vases, stairs, and milk. I have no dream for the future, and my hobby..." I trailed off. 'Flying..' I thought.

"Okay, you, in the orange."

"I'm Naruto Uzumaki, Beleive it! I like ramen, especially the Ramen Iruka treats me to at Ichiraku's and Ashi-chan! I don't like the three minutes it takes to cook after you put in the water to ramen, though. My dream is to become the next Hokage so everyone will acknowledge my exsistance! Andmy hobbies... Pranks, I guess.

"Next, with the pink hair."

"I'm Sakura Haruno! What I like is... *blush and giggle* my hobbie is... *giggle and blush* and my dream for the future... *squeal* What I hate is Naruto!"

Naruto drooped down, defeated.

"Lastly..."

"I am Sasuke Uchiha. I dislike a lot of things and don't particularly like anything. My hobbies are training. I don't have a dream, that is a weak word. However, I do have an ambition: to restore my clan and kill a certain someone..."

... The awkward is palpable...

"Okay, you're all unique in your own way. Tomarrow we go on our first mission together." Kakashi said.

"Ooh! Ooh! What kind of mission!?" Naru-kun exclaimed.

"A solo mission, just the four of us."

"Tell me!"

Then Kakashi started laughing evily. "If I tell you, you won't like it. Out of the 24 graduates from the academy, only 10 will actually become genin. This is a pass-fail test with a failing rate of over 60%"

"62 and a half percent," I added helpfully. (A.N.: I actually just made that up...)

Naruto freaked out. "Then what was the graduation exam for!?!?!?!?!?!?!?"

"Oh, that was just to select a few who might become genin. Or not. The details are on this sheet. Bring all of your ninja weapons. Also, don't eat, you'll puke."

Then he dissapeared.

I walked off without another word.

As I was walking up to the door, I made a handsigh and muttered, "Secret Jutsu, Double Weights." It made my training weights doubly heavy. I groaned slightly as a crater was formed. (A.N.: Her weights were like 50 times the weight of Lee's, but now they're like 100 times since they're doubled.)

Then I gathered some of, but not all, my ninja weapons and stored them in secret pockets, adding another 500,000 or so pounds. I then deemed myself ready to start training for the night.
