Ashi-chan's POV

The next few days passed quickly. Naruto and Sasuke got to the top of the tree and I created several more techniques. I offered to stay behind with Naruto, of coarse, when he was sleeping in to reserve energy. Right after Kakashi and the others had left, he woke up and freaked out.

"Naruto," I said. "I'll stay here with Inari and Tsunami."

"Right!" Naruto exclaimed, not giving it a second thought as he zoomed through the house and towards the bridge. I smiled after him.

"Be safe." I whispered.

I turned to Inari. "I have to go do something. Goodbye for now." I said to him, then took off, soaring up to the clouds and spraying the ground below me with drops of blood.

I was just about to start trying out one of my mewest teqniques on a sonic clone (made with harmonics), when my advanced hearing picked up some commotion going on down at the house.

I automatically dropped what I was doing and turned into a sharp dive. I growled, realizing I was too slow, and quickly said in that robotic, echoey voice of my Kekkei Genkei, "Guard Skill: Delay."

There seemed to be transparent versions of me moving at light speed downwards as I appeared right next to Naruto and landed hard. The impact made me bend my knees a bit, but had no other effect.

I hissed in pain as my stinging eyes adjusted. Wind can really sting like a motherfucker sometimes. Naruto, startled, jumped. I turned to the thugs, and my crimson-glowing eyes narrowed as one slowly got up.

I'd love to test my new technique on this ass...

"Guard skill: Silver Sonic blade." I said, raising my hand a bit. Silver sparks formed in the air and swirled into a silver plasma pole (picture----->), which then became taller, thinner and sharper until it was a wicked-looking silver plasma blade that looked like Zabuza's, but a bit sharper.

The thug's face was full of terror as I swung it up, and brought it down...

...and the flat side of it knocked him out.

"Damn did I want to cut that asshole up." I hissed.

Naruto's POV

Woah! I've never heard Ashi-chan swear like that before! Actually, I've never seen her angry, only once was she mildly irritated.

Her head turned to me. "Naruto," she jerked her head in the direction of the bridge. "Go kick Haku's ass for me."

"Haku?"

"The tracker nin. Tell Zabuza and him that Ashi-chan says 'That's what you get for messing with Naruto.' Mmkay?" She rubbed her eyes, as if they were stinging. I only now noticed the rips and blood on the back to her jacket.

Following my gaze, her eyes turned back to gold- wait! Were they just glowing red?! She turned to me with a scary expression. "Drop it and go." she said stiffly.

"R-right!" I stuttered, scared and confused. "But.. Umm.... How do you know Zabuza excactly?"

"Long story." she muttered. "Now go. Inari and I will be back with backup by the end of your fight."

"O-okay! I'll win, Beleive it!" All other emotions covered by excitement, I rushed off.

Ashi-chan's POV

I watched as Naruto ran off, determined.

"I do beleive it." I whispered.

***Flashback***

"Ashi-Onee!"

A young girl with long silver hair and pretty blue eyes turns. She wears a pretty, yet simple, white dress. She smiles widely as she catches sight of a young boy running towards her.
