Chapter Six - Kicking Ass

I sighed as I waited for the rest of my team to show up. It was a good thing I didn't have to eat, because I could tell what sensei's plan was.

I was still moving a bit slowly due to my wieghts, which had been doubled... again. Wanting to improve my speed, I jogged in circles for several hours until Kakashi showed up.

"Yo."

Sakura and Naruto lectured him, and, after a lame excuse (I think he said a black cat crossed his path), he took out an alarm clock. "It's set for noon. You have to take these bells from me. If you fail, you don't get lunch and will be sent back to the academy."

"Sensei, why are there only three bells?!" Usagi (whay did that name pop up?) I mean Sakura excalaimed.

"That means at least one of you will fail. You need to come at me with intent to kill."

"But those weapons are dangerous!"

"Yeah," Naruto agreed, "Escpecially since you can't dodge an eraser."

Kakashi made a speech about the weakest link, and Naruto charged him. Moving fast to the other's eyes but sluggishly slow to my eyes, he had Naruto's kunai behind his head. "Hold on, I didn't say start yet. But you came at me with full intent to kill. How can I say this.... I'm starting to like you guys. Start!"

Everyone leapt away and hid but Naruto. He stood out in the open. "Hey! Come fight me!"

Kakashi sweatdropped. "You're a little weird aren't you?" he deadpanned.

"Hey! The only weird thing around here is your haircut!"

"He's got you there, Kakashi." I muttered under my breath from my spot in the trees.

A sequence of events led up to Naruto getting caught from behind. "Secret Finger Jutsu!" Kakashi yelled, "A Thousand years of death!"

He then proceeded to shove his fingers into Naruto's ass, sending Naruto flying.

This was like Doragon, Usagi, Kujo (Sasuke), and Jaiden (Kakashi) all over again.

Naruto and several shadow clones ended up having 'Kakashi' 'trapped' only he turned into Naruto and they beat eachother up. Then Naruto saw a bell trap and ran at it.

I cursed and threw a kunai in a boomarang like fashion so that it turned and came at him from a different angle, so not to give away my hiding spot. It landed in front of Naruto, who jumped back, then ran at the bell, getting caught in a trap.

Sensei lectured him, "A ninja must see underneath the underneath."

"Yeah, yeah, I get it." Naruto said, irked.

"I'm telling you this because you don't get it. You think you get it, but that's not the same as actually getting it. Get it?" He said, then dissapeared. I focused on the task at hand.

Kakashi's POV

As soon as I was walking away from Naruto, I heard something. I turned to see Tenashiuta cut Naruto down and ask him if they should work together. Naruto rejected, though, and Tenashiuta sighed and jumped off.

I trapped Sakura in a Genjutsu and stayed by the site. Sure enough, mere seconds later Tenashiuta stepped in and woke her up, asking to work together. But she exclaimed she should go team up with Sasuke and ran off.

I sighed and left to find Sasuke.

Ashi's POV

After Sakura's rejection, I sighed and left to find Sasuke. I found him buried up to his head in the earth. Sighing, I did a hand sign and blew up the earth to free him. "We should work together," I suggested.

"No way, a loser like you will just slow me down," He muttered, the left.

I turned and walked into a clearing, met by none other than Kakashi himself. "Well, no one else will work together with me, so it looks like it's only me," I sighed. I muttered under my breath, "Sonic Edge." Glowing blue plasma blades extended from my arms.

His eyes widened and he put away his book, getting into a fighting stance.

I made the first move, running at him and swinging my blades for his neck. He ducked and brought up his leg, which I easily caught. As I flipped over his head, I secretly stole a bell and put a substitution of one on his belt.

I skidded, tying the bell around my wrist as I hid it from sight. Turning, I ran at him again and swung at the same place. He ducked again, but my blades swung around and gave him some minor gashed on his side. I flipped back in the aftershock, and then all hell broke loose.

No more Miss Nice Angel.

I charged at him and my sonic blades retracted into my hands. Jumping into the air, I did a flip and brought my foot down onto his crossed arms. My force pushed him down and he made a slight crater. As I jumped up, I cracked my knuckles.

He ran at me with a kunai in hand and I easily dodged, punching his stomach and sending him flying back. I handspringed and landed gracefully on one foot. He skidded to a stop and pulled up his headband to reveal his sharingan.

Time to play real.

I landed lightly on one foot. A single scratch, barely noticable, was on my forehead, while Kakashii had cuts and gashes all over his body and was panting with the effort.

I stopped as I heard the bell ring, and used a jutsu to heal all of his wounds and clean up the blood for him. I then took his hand and dragged him to the KIA stone.

He then said, "Well, there's no need for any of you to go back to the academy."

Naruto smiled and did a jig against the pole he was tied to. "Than that means... al four of us..."

"Yep," Sensei said,

"All four (three in my sentance) of you fail!" We both said at the same time.

"Actually, I got a bell," I said, holding up my wrist to let them see it.

Kakashi gasped as my substitution bell poofed away. "When!?"

"The first move, when I swung over your head. When I flipped over your leg I took it."

He ignored this really and lectured them about teamwork.

"Fine, I'll give you another chance at the bells, but this time, I'll make it even harder, and Tenashiuta can't help you. Eat lunch, but don't give any to Naruto."

As soon as he was gone, I stood up and stuffed rice into Naruto's mouth. "Chew," I ordered, "Swallow."

"Tenashiuta, what are you doing!?" Sakura exclaimed.

"Naruto needs it more than I do. Otherwise, he will just be in your way. He needs to build up his strength."

Sasuke and Sakura handed me their lunches, which I stuffed into his mouth, until...

And 3... 2... 1...

Kakashi appeared out of nowhere. "YOU!!! Pass."

He gave a closed eye smile.

"But, sensei....!"

"You need to help your teamates. You are now ready to become Genin."

"Yeah! Let's celibrate at Ichiruka's Ramen!" Naruto exclaimed. I cut him down and we all went out for ramen.

Like a team.
