As I packed my bags I realized the time had come. I knew I would be Back in a matter of a few months but just thinking about leaving Tom for a few months destroyed me inside.

It was time for good byes and I knew I would get a emotional. As Tom went in for a hug I felt the sorrow drench down my body.

I was leaving for three months to go visit my parents in California.

Of course because of Tom's work schedule there was no possible way of him going and I haven't seen my parents for almost a year.

"I'll miss you." I say still hugging him tight.

Releasing the hug Tom looked at me. I look up at him. His unaverage height towers over me. "I'll miss you to love, make sure to call me everyday." He says reminding me.

"I definitely will."

Tom picks up my bags and suit cases and brings them to the car.  He gives me one more last kiss and I get in the car and I roll down the window. As I back out I say

"Love you!"

He waves and says "Love you too. Make sure to call me when you get there!" He says almost shouting.

I finally drive off Leaving Tom alone in the drive way waving goodbye. I can't wait to come home and see him again but I also cant wait to see my Parents.

It was a five hour drive. I stopped a couple times. I stopped at my friend Kelly's to say goodbye. Then I stopped for lunch, gas, and of course pit stops so I could use the bathroom. By the fourth hour I was exhausted. I finally reached my destination. I pulled into my Parents drive way. They have such a nice house. They have lived here in this exact house ever since I was ten. The best part about the house is that it sits right near the beach. As soon as you walk out side and out the front door you get a full view of the beach. Me and my bother spent most of our time there.

As soon as I set foot out of the car my parents come flying right out of the house. I pop the trunk and grab my bags. My Dad comes over and takes my bags right out of my hand. He gives me a peck on the cheek.

"I'll take those for you. How was the drive?" He ask.

"It was fine. Just really tiring."

I hug my mom and grab my last suit case and bring It inside.

My Parents show me the guest room. Which used to be my old room. I put all my clothes away and my belongings. Then I go back out to the dining room to eat dinner.

Me, my Dad, and my mom all sat around the table.

"So its to bad Tom couldn't come." My mom says with sympathy.

I stab a piece of steak with my fork.

"Yeah, he really wanted to but you know how work always gets in the way."

My mom nods her head as she chews her food. We talked about Tom and his work, My new Job, and other family matters that needed to be caught up on.

After dinner I immediately went to bed. I was really tired from the long extensive drive. To bad Tom isn't here to sleep next to me.
