Talking to Tom gone wrong.

  As we walk in letting the door shut behind us my mom, dad, and Tom all sit in the kitchen table.

Everybody shoots up from their chairs looking at us.

"Hey honey." My mom says giving me an odd look.

I don't look at Tom. I cant.

"Oh you brought Robert along." My dad says all giddy and happy.

My dad walk overs and shakes  Roberts hand.

"Hows the car?" Robert asked my dad.

"She's great needs some oil."

Robert smiles and Nods.

Then it got really quiet. The awkward silence could have killed anybody.

My mom spots me holding Roberts hand.

"Hi Tom." I say trying to make this less awkward. 

"Hello."

I let go of Roberts hand and walk up to Tom and give him a hug. I was sure he was not going to hug me back but he hugged me tight.

"Me and Your father will leave you two alone." My mom says as she walks to the door where Robert and my father stand. Me and Tom watch as they walk out.

"Maybe you should come to." My mom says to Robert.

"Actually I thin-" My mom grabs Robert by the ear and pulls him out side.

"Ow, ow, ow!" Robert says well she pulls him outside. He manages to let out a chuckle, I laugh.

"Is that him?" Tom says.

"Wait, who?"

"That guy that you brought. Is that the man that you cheated on me with." He almost said it in a insulting matter.

"I never cheated on you Tom."

"Then who the hell is that?!"

Tom yells.

"I love him Tom."

"You love him!?" His voice filled with anger.

"Yes Tom, I do!" I start to yell.

"How could you?!" Tom says almost sounding like he was going to cry.

He was making mad and I wanted cry. I wanted to cry so bad but I kept it in. Time to be strong.

"Shut the fuck up about "how could you." okay?! We both knew from beginning that this was not going to work!"

"What are you talking about?!"

"Just forget it!!"

It became silent.

"Do you still love me?" Tom asked calming down.

Are eyes meet and I come closer to him. "Tom, of course I do."

Toms lip quivers. I could feel the tears build up in my eyes.

"Then what happened to us?" He asked as a tear comes down his face. I suddenly found myself extremely close to Tom.

"Distance broke us apart." I explain.

"I have seen plenty of relationships that lasted like this. With being away from each other they still find away to still stay strong." Tom says his blue eyes all watery.

"Maybe were not ment to be then." I say letting tears travel down my face.

Tom hugged me. I almost forgot how tall he was. I let go of the hug and Tom looks in my eyes. Tom glances over towards the door. I hear someone turn the door knob. And before I could stop him he put his lips on mine and he kissed them. Kissing me I tried pulling away but he had me gripped. The door swings open and he finally lets me go.

I wipe my lips off with my sleeve.

"What the fuck Tom?!" I say wiping my lips off acting like a dog just licked them.

I don't even bother looking to see who came in. I look over to see Robert. Robert with a undescribable face expression.

"Robert its not-" He slams the door walking out before I could finish my sentence.

I give Tom the dirtest look.

"Im sorry Alex." He says not sounding sincer at all.

"You knew he was coming in. Didn't you?"

I say squinting my eyes at Tom.

He doesn't answer. He just stares at the ground. I lash out and my anger comes out. I point at him.

"If you think this is ganna get us 'back together' just because he just saw that your dead wrong!" I say leaving the house and slamming the door behind me. Now I have to find Robert and explain what just happened. I hope he understands.
