I want you.

On a Run.

  The first thought that comes to mind when I wake up is Tom. Then I remember that I needed to call him when I got here. I was so tired I forgot to call him. I get up and stretch my way out of bed. I grab my cellphone and as I predicted.

I have four missed calls from Tom and six text messages. I smile at my phone. I think its cute that he called me a million times just to see

if I was okay. I call him back.

  "Hello Love." He says so sweet through the phone.

"Hey babe, sorry I didn't call you last night. I totally forgot."

He giggles alittle.

"Its fine. I called your mum and she said you feel asleep around nine." Tom says.

"Yeah I was so tired from the drive up here." I explain to him.

"Yeah I bet you were."

"Well I have to go. Love you." I say trying to wrap up the conversation.

"Love you to darling, give me a call later okay?" He says.

"Okay I will bye!"

He hangs up first.

   I walk into the kitchen and there is a plate full of pancakes stacked  in the middle of the table. My dad sits at the table drinking his coffee and reading the News paper. My mom sits next to him looking through the mail.

"Good morning." I say to get to their attention.

They both shoot up a look at me.

In unison they say "Good morning." I sit at the table and start to eat.

My mom tells me about Tom calling last night to see if I made it there safe.

  After I got done eating. I get ready to go on my daily morning Jog. Im not really a person who likes to workout but I have always loved to Jog. I put my shorts on and a blue T-shirt. I put my hair in a bun get my sneakers on and grab my Ipod.

  I walk out side and I am overwhelmed by the beautiful beach. It was busy just like any other day in California. People were tanning, playing volleyball, swimming, and surfing.

I slid my ear buds in and started on my way.

   As I jogged down the side walk I saw alot of guys riding skate broads and long broads. Saw a lot of joggers. Some even with their Dogs.

Also saw some people heading toward the beach. I keep a good pace. I enter the local park. It was pretty busy there too. Kids and adults riding bikes, people having picnics, people playing catch, and the usual park activities. I jogged past people sitting on benches reading. As I kept jogging I saw a man looking at me. He was astonishing handsome. Are eyes met. They only meet for a flat second when he looked away. I was getting closer to him. As I jog pass him. He swings his foot up and my leg collided with his. I trip and fall on the hard and warm side walk that travels through out the park. As soon as I register what just happened I stand back up and swing around. I see the man standing in front of me. This ass hole just tripped me.

"What the hell was that for?!" I say with quite some rage.

"Im so sorry." He says with sympathy in his voice.

"You saw me coming, so why would you stick your foot up!?" I could tell I was raising my voice a little to loud.

People started to look.

"I was trying to stand up. I am sorry I really am. Are you okay?" He ask again.

His whole face mood changed. It was mainly in his eyes. They looked filled with sorrow. So gloomy but shiny and bright. Almost like puppy dog eyes. You know that cute little face puppys give you when they want something. His face changed my mood and my feelings on this whole situation.

"Uh, you know what. Its fine." I say calmly.

"Are you sure your okay?"

I find it flattering that he is so concerned if im okay.

"Yeah im fine. Sorry I yelled at you."

"Its okay, I should of looked before I tried to stand up." He says defending the event.

"Its all good. Im gonna head off." I say sliding my ear buds back in my ears.

"Okay, have a nice day. Sorry again."

I nod and smile and then he smiles back. When he smiled I swear the world went silent and that is all I could see. His smile was perfectly white and straight. I got butterflies. I just stood there like am idiot smiling at him smiling. I finally shook out of it. And gave him once last look. He was already walking away. I turned around and went on my way.
