I want you.

Just as friends.

  I finish putting my make up on and then grab my phone off the desk that sits in the guest room. I go out to the kitchen. My mom and dad see me leaving.

"Hey where are you going?" My mom asked.

"Um, just going out with some friends." I respond.

"Friends?" My dad says confused.

"Since when do you have friends?" My mom says.

I suddenly feel offended.

"Excuse me but im not a loser. I have friends you know."

"Alright have fun." My dad says.

I roll my eyes and head out the door.

  There I stood outside the movie theatre waiting for Robert. I feel like he is the type a guy to get revenge and stand me up like I did to him. I watch people walk in the theatre and walk out. I keep an eye out for Robert. I check the time frequently. Five minutes past then Ten minutes past. At that point I had no hope of him showing. Then a man appears next to me. I look over and see Robert. At first I didn't recognize him. His facial hair was gone. All gone. He had a clean shaved face. He looked boyishly handsome.

"You shaved." I say pointing out the obvious.

Robert rubs his chin.

"Yeah. How does it look?"

"You look good, really good." I say.

Robert smiles and he blushes. When he blushed I blushed. It was a blushing war. God was he sexy.

"Well on we go." He says.

He walk into the movie theatre. We get our tickets and we get popcorn. We walk in the theatre room. We find seats in the way back. Robert and I talked well the commercials were on but when the movie started he hushed.

  There was a couple in front of us making out. I don't mean like little kids inlove making out I mean full on rough making out right in front of us. Robert pokes me.

"Watch this." He says whispering. He takes a piece of pop corn and flicks it and it hits the couple. They stop making out and they look around. Robert just stares at the screen like he is incident. The couple goes back to eating each others faces. He looks at me and we both laugh quietly. I take a piece of pop corn and do the same. I miss the first time. I try again and it hits the guy right in the face. They both dart a look at me and Robert who look at the screen looking incident. They go back to their make out session. Me and Robert laugh trying to be quiet.

Robert proceeds to lean over and whispers to the couple.

He clears his throat first

"Exsue me but could you two get a fucking room?" Robert says ever so calmly.

I just burst out laughing. I tried to be quiet but I just couldn't help it. The guy actually laughed at what Robert said. The girl on the other hand was extremely offended and got up and left. The guy apologized for being so vulgar out in public and then left. Robert leaned back in his chair.

He looks at me and we both laugh.

This was probably the funniest and best nights I have had in a while.
