It hits noon and I am out the door on my way to Starbucks.

I walk in and he sits alone in a booth alone. Looking out the window. His side profile exposed. I walk up and sit down. When I take a seat he glances at me.

"Well hello there." He says with a smirk.

"Hey. Hows it going?"

"Im peachy thanks for asking. And you?" He says.

"Im good." I answer.

"Thanks for actually showing up this time."

I give him a glare.

"Im sorry about that." I say.

"Its fine."

He bought us coffee and we talked and talked and talked. Until there was nothing more to talk about. Which there was still more to talk about but we lost track of the time. The time flew by.

"Okay so you left your charming boyfriend back home blah blah blah but why couldn't he tag along?" Robert asked finishing up our conversation.

"Well the thing is he has a job that is kinda you know hard to get free time with."

He nodds his head.

"So you just left him behind?" Robert asked.

"I hadn't seen my parents in a year! And even I have a new job and this was the only time I had open to really visit them." I explain.

"Oh I see."

We kept talking. I can't believe in that amount of time how much I got to know him. And how much he got to know me. He makes me feel different.

Robert looks at his watch on his wrist.

"Well we have been here for almost four hours." He says.

"Wow, really?!"

He brings his wrist up to close to me. I look at his watch. He's right its been four hours.

"Isn't past your bed time?" He asked with sarcasm and a grin on his face.

I laugh and he laughs with me.

Then in that exact moment I find my self staring at him. I realize just how good looking he really is. I am mesmerized by every inch of his face. His facial hair that is styled nicely. His pink lips that look soft. If I could only feel them on my lips. His eyes. The best part about him. His eyes. They were a dark golden brown. With those eyes he could change your whole perspective on him. His voice interrupts my thoughts.

"Alex?"

I shake out of it.

"What?" I ask.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" He ask searching my eyes.

I clear my throat.

"Uh nothing sorry. Um im going to get going." I say well standing up. He stands up as well.

"Oh, yes of course."

He holds out his hand and I shake it.

"We should do this again." I say nervously.

He smiles. His smile makes me feel less nervous.

"Absolutely!"

I smile then thank him for the night. Them I leave and make my way home. As walk down the street. My phone vibrates. I search my pocket and pull out my phone.

"Hello?" I say answering the phone.

"Hello love."

Its Tom.

"Hey."

"Hows everything going?" He asked.

I am almost home.

"Its good just walking. Hows work?"

Tom told me about work. We talked about other things of course. When I finally reached home. Me and Tom said goodnight and hung up.

As I drift to sleep the one person that is on my mind is not Tom. It should be Tom. Surprisingly I really don't miss Tom as much as I thought I was going to. If Tom isn't my last thought before I fall asleep then who is?

Its Robert he is my last thought. He is the only person I want to think about.
