  "I love you too" I responded, still too flustered and breathless to speak properly and we kissed even stronger than before not caring about the world around us, a mistake, an aura of pure hatred, betrayal and bloodlust stormed toward us with a branch larger than a baseball bat in his white knuckled hand.

*KRACK*

I was suddenly dragged to the ground, still wrapped in an embrace with a now dazed and bleeding Evan, I stared in horror as a seething Johnathan stood over us, the branch now swinging at his side "J-John?!" I stuttered shocked, I had no idea what to think, one moment I was having the most amazing moment in my life the next I was on the cold, leaf covered ground scared of what was going on and possibly for my life.

The friend I once knew looked at me for a brief moment before he was tackled by a still dizzy but overpowering Evan "What the hell man?! What's wrong with you!?!" he yelled as they fought over the thick branch separating the two from being at each other's throats "What's wrong with me?" I heard dark chuckles erupt from the throat of my pinned friend but with a harsh roar he shoved off the stronger man and had the branch up against his throat "You knew! You knew I loved her and you're making out with her! You knew she was mine and you're trying to steal her from me!" he yelled enraged as he caused his best friend to start choking, too concussed to fight back.

"What's that, got nothing to say mister celebrity?" just as Evan's eyes started to roll to the back of his skull the branch was lifted off of him, only to be replaced by a black sneaker crushing his chest "You always got what you wanted but not this time!" the now truly 'Delirious' man lifted the heavy branch above his head "Goodbye Vanoss!" Evil laughter erupted from him as I looked away just before a loud *CRUNCH* was heard echoing through the thick woodland around us.

"Oh God, no" I sobbed heavily as I curled up against a tree trying to shut out reality 'He can't be dead, this is just a bad dream or some Halloween prank' soft footsteps approached my quivering form, dropping the blood stained mask and piece of broken wood to the ground as he sat down and put a 'comforting' and bloody arm around me as I cried my scared eyes out into my muddy sweater.

"Shh, it's okay, now it's just you and me but sadly I didn't come fast enough to save Evan from the crazy asshole that tried to kill you both" He purred into my ear with an evil grin plastered onto his face, I looked at him with sheer terror as I realized what he meant, he seemed satisfied that I had figured it out all by myself "He was your best friend, you two have been through so much together how could you..." I trailed off as I couldn't bring myself to say those words that would surly haunt me for the rest of my life, he laughed that evil way he did that I used to love but now hate and fear.

"He was getting in between our love, no matter who he was nobody gets in the way of Delirious!" he laughed again and pulled me onto his lap and held me as close as he could, burying his nose into the nape of my neck "And now you and me can be together forever, right?" I didn't know how to respond I was scared for my life but if I resisted it could end horribly "Right?!" he growled as he dug his nails into my side and almost piecing the soft flesh, I winced and nodded hesitantly not daring to look him in the eyes "Good girl" he cooed.
