Movie Time

  "Hey lovebirds, the movie's gonna start in a few minutes!" David called for us to come over and I had never been more thankful for his timing than this moment "Coming!" I quickly wriggled out of Delirious's grip and ran to catch up with the others as they were buying snacks "Don't worry I got your favorite" Tyler handed me a bag of candy as I came up beside him "What am I, nine?" I pouted "Mentally, you are" my big brother teased and I poked my tongue out at him to prove his point, making the others laugh.

We grabbed our sweets, popcorn and drinks and headed for the cinema, we only had to wait a short while before the doors were opened and we raced to get the best seats, which happened to be the first row of the middle section, we were lined up left to right David, Lui, Brian, Craig, Tyler, Me and Delirious after much shuffling and debate and we waited for the movie to start as the loud-as adverts blared.

An arm had snaked around my shoulders as Delirious had lifted the arm rest back and was now right next to me, grabbing popcorn out of the box on my lap like we were a couple on a movie date and I knew Tyler was grinning his ass off, I just wish he knew the truth.

We laughed and enjoyed ourselves all through the movie, acting like nothing ever happened, I even forgot who I was sitting next to and without thinking leaned into him when I wasn't laughing so hard, letting his arm fall to hold my waist and pull me closer to him.

After a wild ride of blood, sex jokes, and forth-wall breaking the lights came with the credits and I was brought back to reality to find myself embraced with the man to my right, I looked up to see him smirking down at me, not moving to release me from his grip, he chuckled as I forcefully unwrapped myself from his hold and moved to leave the cinema with the others, talking about how great the movie was and laughing to themselves as they remembered their favorite skits.

We walked down to the carpark talking about various topics and got back into the cars for the drive back home, as we drove I saw that it was almost dark, the setting sun making the sky turn a hypnotic orange, oblivious to how much the sight of me, bathed in the gorgeous light, was driving Delirious crazy and what twisted thoughts were going through his head.
