"Here you go, Ji Hyo-ah.. ", Gary says as he places the bottle of yogurt next to Ji Hyo's plate.

They had just joined the others and Ji takes a seat next to Kwang Soo.

She comes face to face with Jong Kook, who is sitting across her. And she remembers what happened the day before.

"Hyung, you didn't come and tell us that you're already going to the hospital yesterday. ", she says.

She has lost track of time in the music room because of Gary, who played lots of beautiful music that seems to really sooth her mood.

He just keeps looking down at his food as he eats.

"I forgot. ", he simply says.

Her brows furrow as she exchange looks with Gary.

Is it just her or is he really acting cold?

"Is your mom alright? ", she asks, wondering if something happened the day before that ruined his mood.

"Yes. She's getting better. "

"That's good to hear. ", she answers.

"Hm. ", he says dismissively.

And she spends the whole lunch time talking with the other members, still noticing that Jong Kook has been unusually quiet.

But she thinks it is just because of the stress he is getting from her mother who is still in the hospital.

She also catches Joong Ki's gaze, and they just look away at the same time.

She is bothered by it, though. She has grown a bit uncomfortable whenever she gets alone with Joong Ki ever since that incident.

And he has also become pretty distant lately. Although sometimes, she catches her staring at his direction, and then looks away whenever she looks.

That afternoon, the others have something else to do, leaving her with the company of only Kwang Soo and Jong Kook towards the hospital.

She has grown uncomfortable though, for she is only talking to Kwang Soo. Jong Kook is silently walking along on her other side.

They are almost in the hospital when she decides to speak up.

She moves closer to Jong Kook, making him back away a bit in surprise.

"Is something wrong? ", she asks, ignoring the fact that she sounds childish.

"No. ", he answers, too quickly to be believable.

"Are you going to be like this? ", she asks,  growing impatient at trying to guess the reason why he is being unusually quiet.

"Like what? "

"This! ",she says, gesturing him.

"What are you talking about? ", he asks.

"You're being quiet, Hyung. ", Kwang Soo butts in.

"See? Even Kwang Soo feels it. ", she says.

"You're both being delusional. ", he says, his eyes straight at the hospital which is already in view as  he walks ahead

"Stop being a childish brat, Kim Jong Kook! ",she says, widening her steps to catch up.

"Brat--?! ", he repeats as he suddenly turns around, almost making an impact with Ji Hyo if she has not abruptly halts at the last inch.

She blinks to gather herself as she backs a step away, her mind thinking what could have happened if she had bumped at him.

"Kim Jong kOok? Brat? ", he asks, his brows furrow. "Are you older than me? "
