Chapter 1: How Time Flies

*Garroth's POV*
~6 Months Later~

June 25th...

Damn, how time flies.

I guess that's to be expected, when you're spending everyday with the love of your life. The days go by, all too quickly. And sometimes, it feels as if the world stops moving. It's just me and him...together. I've given into our cliché lives, and I embrace it.

Another thing that's hard to believe...our one year anniversary is in two months. Yes, two months. It's insane! Laurance and I have been dating for so freaking long! Not that I mind, of course.

I just can't believe it...

*Laurance's POV*

I can't take this anymore! The anticipation is killing me!

I can't stand just dating him.

I want to marry him...

I want to love him forever, and the feeling to be returned. So, I can't keep holding it off...

Because, I have fallen in love.

Why can't this boy, just show a sign that he is ready? I'd give anything, just for that. I love him dearly...

His brother, and good friend, up and got married! Why can't we?!

Okay, inner thoughts...I think we're getting a bit riled up, over something small.

Small?! This isn't small, stupid conscience!

My Irene, I am the weirdest person I planet Earth.

"Laurance? Are you alright?" A soft voice asked. I looked to my right, to see my beautiful boyfriend. "You have been muttering inaudible things to yourself, and you've gotten really pale. Is something the matter?"

I nervously chuckled, scratching the back of my head. Garroth, my amazing boyfriend, tilted his head to the side a little. Damn, I hated when he did that... He is too freaking cute.

"Hm? Oh, Love, I'm fine. I just got lost in my thoughts..," I looked down, biting my lip.

"What were you thinkin' 'bout?" Garroth laid his head on my lap, looking up at me.

As much as I love him, I can hate him sometimes. He knows just the right buttons, that clicked. He knows almost all off my weaknesses. Take note of how I said almost. There's still I couple he is unaware about.

And I intend to keep it that way.

"U-uh..," I stammered, tapping my chin. "...a-about how beautiful you are, Love."

"No, seriously."

"Yes, I'm serious."

Garroth gave me a 'really' look, shaking his head. I chuckled, pecking a quick kiss on his forehead.

"Say, Garroth..," I started, earning a tiny nod from him. "You've grown, a lot."

"What do you mean?" Garroth rose an eyebrow, sitting up from my lap. "Physically? Because, I'm still pretty freaking short. I mean, I'm taller than Aphmau...but still shorter than you."

"No, not physically," I rolled my eyes, chuckling again. "I mean...remember when we first started dating, Love? You were such a nervous wreck. You stuttered almost every sentence, blushed like a madman, and were honestly an adorable thing. Not that you aren't adorable now, I'm just saying...you used to be a small, innocent thing. Now, look at you. I don't mind. You're either cute or hot, so it's a win-win for me."

Garroth snickered, stretching his arms. He yawned a little, before leaning his head on mine.

"You rant a lot, Laurance."

"Because I can't express how much I love you, in just a few short sentences."

A/N- This chapter was short for a (hopefully) good reason. It's just an introduction. The next chapter, that comes out tomorrow will (hopefully) be longer.
