Chapter 22: One Whole Year

A/N- So, Thursday was EXTREMELY hectic. No chapter was able to come out. Sorry for that. But, hope this chapter makes up for it. 😊

*Garroth's POV*
~20 Days Later~

Guess what today is!

It's our one year anniversary! Both Laurance and I!

Yup, we've been together for a whole year now! Well...romantically, of course. Also, today was the original suggested date for our wedding. Yikes. Good thing we went for May, instead of August. I am not prepared for it, at all!

But, today is our anniversary. And, aside from our Wedding, one of the most anticipated days. Even after all this time, it's still so surreal. We ended up...together.

"Garroth~" Laurance spun me around to face him, a giant grin plastered on his face. "Guess what~?"

"What?" I smiled back, holding my fiancé's hands.

"Happy one year anniversary, Love~" Laurance pulled me into a sweet kiss, holding my waist.

I instantly kissed him back, throwing my arms around his neck. We pulled away, all too soon, gazing into each other's blue eyes. It was silent for a moment, before I gave him a small peck on his cheek.

"Happy one year, Laurance," I smiled, pulling his head down, to lean on mine. "I love you so much~"

"I love you, as well, Sweetheart."

I let go of him, unable to stop smiling. I was so giddy, and full of excitement. I reached into my pocket, checking the time on my phone.

"When is everyone coming over, tonight?" Laurance asked me.

"4:30, we agreed on. That's in about 5 hours. So, you up for some preparations?"

"Yup..."

~Later That Day~

"Hey, Zane, Travis, nice to see you two could make it," Garroth greeted them, as the last of our invited guests came.

We were having a small party, to celebrate our anniversary. And, later tonight, we were going to go on a nice date. We've had this day planned out, for quite a while.

"Congratulations guys," Travis said, looking in between the both of us. "Glad to see how far you've both come."

"Indeed," I chuckled, taking a hold of Garroth's hand.

Travis and Zane both nodded, coming inside. I shut the door behind them, turning to face my fiancé. He smiled up at me, holding a light blush.

"That's everyone, correct?" I asked, looking around at the full room.

"Well...uh...I may have invited someone else," Garroth nervously chuckled, quickly giving me a kiss.
