*Laurance's POV*

Garroth and I made our way through the beautiful forest, hand-in-hand. We took slow steps, taking in the entirety of this moment. The sun had set about an hour ago, and the sky was the beautiful shade. Stars were shining in the darkness, and the moon began to radiate, showing off my husband's best features. Which, between you and me, is all of him.

"I love you," Garroth whispered, glancing up at me, with those radiating cyan eyes I have fallen in love with, over and over.

"Oh, I know," I stopped, pressing a small kiss to his forehead, before we continued to walk down the path, coated in florals. "I love you so much, Love."

"Oh, I know," he mocked me, following with a small, adorable giggle.

"How did I get blessed with the most adorable person ever?" I sweetly smiled, clutching his hand tighter, as we neared our destination.

"I ask myself the same question, every time I look in the mirror," Garroth used his free hand, to poke his own cheek.

We both shared a laugh, as we spotted our beloved destination. The wedding reception had gotten over with, just recently. As soon as it ended, Garroth and I almost immediately made our way here. What other way to celebrate our new marriage, without visiting our favourite place. The one place, where we've shared so many memories, ever since we have fallen in love.

Garroth let go of my hand, as he basically skipped over to the pond. I chuckled under my breath, and watched as he immediately seated himself by the beautiful waters. I bent down, plucking a specific flower, before joining my husband. I sat beside him, slowly taking his hand in mine.

"It's quiet here," I whispered, allowing him to lean his head on mine.

"Then don't ruin it with talking," he jokingly replied, but I still obliged nonetheless.

We sat in silence for a few minutes, just staring out at the lovely sight before us. After a moment, I sat up, gently turning Garroth's head to face me. I slowly placed the blue flower I had plucked, behind his ear, allowing it to rest there.

Even in the slight darkness, I could still notice the small blush creeping upon his face. I leaned my forehead against his, holding both of his hands in mine. We just sat like that, in complete silence. Staring into each other's eyes. It was peaceful, and I loved it. Until, I decided to break the silence.

"Garroth..," I started, caressing his cheek with one hand. "Look at where we are, now. And, where we started... We've come so far..."

"I know, I know" he whispered, and I could notice small tear forming in his eyes, as he smiled sweetly.

"It's almost insane to think, that I fell in love with you. Of all people," I teased, still holding his head.

"You say it as if it's a bad thing."

"Well, just know, that it isn't. Actually, it's the best thing," I moved my hand to underneath his chin, lifting Garroth's head a little.

I placed a soft, sweet kiss, upon his lips, moving my hands to around his waist. I pulled away reluctantly, as Garroth'd hands traveled up my body, to eventually around my neck. And once again, we sat there, just staring into each other. Never would I have thought, that the most beautiful person in my life, would be in this situation with me. Married. It's still a crazy thought. But, still, an extremely cherished thought.
