Chapter 34: Where Has The Time Gone?

*Garroth's POV*
~2 Months Later~

Six months.

Only six more months, until I am married. How freaking insane is that! Six. Months. It feels like just Yesterday, was when Laurance manned up enough to propose to me. Now...we've come so far...

Both of us have been through so much. It's kind of crazy, just thinking about it. Damn... Where has the time gone?

"Laurance..," I looked over at my fiancé, who was reading some online post, probably about something stupid. "We need to talk..."

"Hm? Yeah?" He kept his gaze directed on his phone. Oh, he best not be ignoring me.

"Laurance...," I moved closer to him, hoping to earn some form of acknowledgement. I can't believe I am jealous of my boyfriend's phone... "This is super serious. I need your full attention..."

"Yeah, I'm listening," Laurance nodded, his pale blue eyes scanning the screen on his phone.

I glared up at him, hanging onto his arm. He didn't do anything. I seriously, am this close to hitting him. My Irene... What more can a guy do, to get attention from his dumb boyfriend? Take my shirt off? That won't work... Then, he just won't look at me at all, because I'm too hot. Sigh...

"Honey..," I groaned, clutching tightly onto his sleeve. "Look at me."

"I'm listening, Love. What is it?"

I seriously hate you sometimes, Laurance...

"I'm breaking up with you," I continued to glare at him, hoping to gain some reaction.

"That's cool," Laurance chuckled a little.

"I'm also pregnant..," I let go of his arm, crossing my own.

"Congratulations."

I dramatically sighed, knowing I wasn't going to win this. Well... For now, at least. Just you wait... He'll pay for this, sooner or later.

"And you're not the father..," I added on to my previous statement, just messing with him at this point.

Laurance dropped his phone onto his lap, and his head shot to stare at me. I smirked, thanking Irene, that I was finally noticed. Judge me all you want, and call me clingy. I like getting attention from my boyfriend, okay? Okay.

"What?!" Laurance stared at me wide-eyed, putting a hand over his heart. "How could you do this to me?!"

"Well, maybe, if you paid more attention to me, it wouldn't have happened!" I fake-snapped, huffing.

"Who did this?!" Laurance grabbed my shoulders, staring me dead in the eyes.

"Gene," I flatly stated, a bit disgusted that his name rolled off my tongue.

"What?! Gene?! When I-..," Laurance looked down at me, scanning me over. He let go of my shoulders, putting his hands on his lap. "I missed something here, didn't I?"

Laurance, I love you, but you are really dumb sometimes...

"Laurance, Sweetheart," my smirk grew, as I playfully tilted my head at him. "I'm a boy. You know this."
