Chapter 25: Hangout

*Laurance's POV*
~1 Week Later~

"You wanna come up? It'll be great~. Promise," Aphmau's cute voice almost sang on the other end of the phone.

"When is it?" I leaned against the wall, kicking my foot up.

"About, like...two, maybe? Two thirty?"

"Who's gonna be there?"

"Aside from you two, if you guys decide to come... It'll be me, Aaron, Katelyn, Kawaii~Chan, Dante, Vylad, Zane, Travis, probably Lucinda...and uh... Ivy," Aphmau nervously chuckled.

My grip on my cell phone tightened, and I groaned. Why did her and Ivy have to make up? Aphmau's chuckles died down, and I heard a small sigh come from the other end.

"I know what happened, Laurance. Garroth told me everything," Aphmau sighed once again. "Laurance, you gotta learn to let it go. I think that you're being...kinda ridiculous about all of this."

"I know...it's just..," I ran a hand through my hair. "...It's just my overprotective side coming out. You know?"

"I understand, it's just...I don't know...hard to explain."

"Well, anyways, are you guys coming up?" Aphmau's chipper voice returned.

"Yeah, why not. I'm sure Garroth would love to."

"Great! See you later, Laurance."

"Bye, Aph."

I hung up, shoving my phone into my pocket. I sighed once more, dragging my hands down my face. Why did Ivy have to be there? Maybe, if I'm lucky, she'll get sick and not show up. Perhaps, maybe...I can bribe Lucinda to use a potion or spell, or something...

No, I can't do that... Garroth would hate me, if he found out I did something that cold-hearted. I guess, I'll just have to deal with it. Gah, I hate this dilemma I'm in.

"Laurance? Is something the matter?" My fiancé's soft voice, broke through my thoughts. "What was that call about?"

"Nothing bad, hun," I removed my hands off of my face. I put on a smile, walking over to Garroth. "Hey, at two, you wanna head over to Aph's place?"

"For what?" He rose an eyebrow, smiling as well.

"She's having a small hangout, and invited us over. Your brothers, and a few of our friends will be there. So, you wanna go?"

"Sure! Sounds fun!" Garroth wrapped his arms around my back, laying his head on my chest. "It's at two, you said?"

"Yup! That's about...three hours away. So, you wanna go get ready?" I asked him, holding around his waist.

"Ready?"

I smirked, kissing his head. "Follow me, and I'll tell you all the details."

"Oh, alright!"

"How you doin', Garroth?" Vylad smiled, pulling up a chair beside me. "Good?"

"Yeah, I'd say so," I smiled, turning to face my baby brother. "And you, Vylad? How have you been?"
