*Laurance's POV*

I watched Garroth talk over with Dante, he seemed a little...upset. Damn it, I hope everything's alright. I swear on Irene's behath, if any decides to screw up today-

"Laurance, are you alright? You seem a little tense," Ivy folded her arms over her chest, blowing her hair out of her face. "Is something the matter?"

"No, no. Everything's fine. Wonderful," I attempted to convince myself. After all, it's my wedding day. "Definitely. Positively. Absolutely."

"Sometin' on your mind?" She giggled leaning against a nearby wall. "Ya seem a little out of it."

"Should I go over there? That'd be the smart thing to do, right?" I glanced over at Ivy, as she shrugged.

"I dunno, man. I've barely been in a real relationship before, let alone, married. I don't know what you're supposed to do... But, I'd just say, wait for him. Unless it seems like he's getting himself into trouble."

She is so helpful...

"Yeah, sure, whatever," I rolled my eyes, crossing my arms.

If it isn't obvious enough, I don't like her. Like...at all. I'm sorry but, I just can't stand her. She loud, annoying, had these weird romantic feelings for my husband in the past... Yeah, I despise her. I'm sure someone out there can agree with me, right? Surely, I'm not the only one who thinks this of her. Listen, I don't care that Garroth's chill with her. As much as I love my husband 💚, I have a right to my own opinion. And my opinion is, that Ivy is positively obnoxious. For Garroth's sake, I at least can tolerate her presence. I don't care how nice she is to me. Nothing is going to change my mind.

After being lost in thought for a moment, I snapped to when I saw Garroth walking towards Ivy and I. His eyes shifted every different direction, and his hands fidgeted. Oh no... Nothing better ruin today! I am about to kick someone's-

"Now, Laurance, mi amor, I'm about to tell you something, that is going to absolutely trigger you. But, before you do anything brash, I'm going to remind you, that today is our wedding day, and you probably don't want to be sleeping on the couch, during our Honeymoon," Garroth grabbed my shoulders, allowing me to look him in the eyes. "Also, don't you dare walk away from me, when I tell you this..."

Dann it, he got me even more nervous, now!

"Garroth, Love, what is it?" And now I'm panicking again. Freaking wonderful.

"...Laurance," Garroth sighed, before taking in a deep breath. "Gene is here."

Oh, s--- is about to go down, boys!

"Uh...come again? I think I misheard you," I shook my head from the thought.

There was no way Gene was here. He wasn't invited. No... Either I misheard him, or Garroth's just trying to get me riled up. Hopefully the former. Right? Right.

"Gene. Is. Here," Garroth slowed down his speech, worry present in his eyes. Oh, no... "Laurance, damn it I see that look in your eyes. Be calm, and rational damn it."

"What's going on?" Ivy interrupted our conversation, biting her lip. "Is everything alright?"

"Ivy, glad to see you could make it!" Garroth let go of my shoulders, putting on an obvious fake smile. "You go on and enjoy yourself, hun. I'll catch up with you in a bit, alright? Alright. Sounds good."
