Description - You knew Dreadwing would never side with the Autobots, but something had the Decepticon drawn to you.
After my little run in with Megatron's so called loyal servant Dreadwing in the woods, I never thought I would have to encounter the explosive technician again. But during my mission when I had to recover some left behind equipment and energon at the same sight, I was shocked to see that he had been there waiting for me.
I was incredibly alarmed as soon as I spotted the Decepticon perched on a boulder.
"Hello (Y/n)", he greeted with a neutral expression. He caught me off guard, making me bring out my guns to point at the direction of sound. The captain pulled his servos up in surrender and slid off his post.
"Please, I don't want any trouble. I just want to talk", he spoke in a calming matter. I remained in a defensive position. He has pulled many tricks with Bulkhead and the others, and even then our leader believed that somewhere within his spark there was some good. His twin might not of thought the same way, but Dreadwing had the integrity of a leader.
During the last mission, I was in pursuit of a hot trail of red energon Ratchet had picked up on the radar. When I made it to the destination I found that I wasn't the only one that had discovered the energon. That's when I ran into Dreadwing who was expecting my company. His advantage was that he made it to the grounds before me, so he had the whole area of the forest booby trapped with bombs.
I called for backup, and despite our efforts we had to call for a retreat. The result was over done, and Dreadwing's mistake had put him in a situation where he would of been blown to smithereens by his own handiwork, if not for Optimus' judgment that all cybertrons deserved a second chance. He must of known Dreadwing was capable of a change in spark, so he implored us to save him. After arguing, I finally agreed and flew in to assist the Decepticon.
He was injured badly, so I had to put myself at risk to pull him out to safety. Dreadwing tried to resist my help, not wanting to rely on an Autobot of all bots to assist in his escape. I knew he was trying to hold onto his pride, but I ignored his stubborn attitude hoping he would relinquish. Besides, his chances of surviving on his own was slim to none.
After we were in the clear, I had no reason to accompany the mech who almost wiped out part of my team. I shifted into jet form and flew away without a word. The last thing I heard before I made my exit was the countless questions of why I had saved him. I didn't bother to answer him, I just hoped that my choice in saving one of Megatron's strongest allies was not something I would regret in the future.
Many earth days have gone by and here I was among the aftermath of our last encounter, with the perpetrator in my presence.
"Dreadwing...why are you here?", I growled keeping my weapons locked in his direction. The heavily armored mech stood forward with his servos remaining in my sights. I could see he still had marks from the impact of his explosions charred against the navy blue plates. There were parts on his armor that lit up matching his optics that glowed brightly, emitting the evil hue that only a demon could pull off. His double pointed chin and concave cheeks gave him an even more menacing look. He had two separate parts to his optic ridges. One was his main bold ridges that matched his color scheme. The others were more of a metallic gold matching his faceplate that stood out from each side like horns, only they behaved the same way. They were perked up, giving him a more attentive expression. It didn't look at all threatening, but that didn't mean I would let my guard down.
