Description - You finally reunite with your sparkmate Optimus and the team after a long time spent in a solo mission.

It was a tiresome journey of a solo mission I was assigned to for a whole Earth week or so, I lost track. I was sent to spy on Decepticon activity so that we could gather intel on their whereabouts and what their true intentions were. The only thing I found odd was that Megatron was absent the whole duration of my surveillance, and Starscream appeared to be running the operation. Through time I realized his main focus was collecting heeps of energon, weather it was for greed or for something else i was unclear, but I found it alarming.

During my mission I would always report in to Ratchet on my current status and my findings. The only bot that would send a direct com link to me was Optimus. Even though he knows I can take care of myself, he worries. With every passing day and contact with him over the com he had a sadder tone in his voice. It must be from the time we have spent apart from each other. I felt it too. Every night when I would set my post to recharge I felt the lonesome absence of being without my sparkmate. I would just curl up and imagine his strong arms blanketing me with the warmth in his spark to help me fall into stasus.

After countless of cold nights I was finally relieved to be returning to base. I could of studied the Decepticons longer, but I don't think my spark could take another day without...him.

I was given the joy of seeing the portal to the Autobot base open up before me. There was an excitement that had me all giddy once I walked through, seeing the pair of faces smiling back at me once they caught sight of me.

"(Y/n)!", they all cheered as they started rejoicing around me. I was overwhelmed by their welcome. During the reunion I could hear a pair of heavy steps approaching slowly from behind the crowd. I looked up, and met the optics of the Autobot leader, my Prime. He stood apart from the others given his size and the vibrant blue and red color scheme that I loved so much.

"(Y/n), it is with great relief that you have returned to us without harm", he spoke appeased. My cheeks rose up seeing how happy he looked when he saw me. He gave me a faint smile. He wouldn't show much of that emotion in front of the others, but I could tell he was holding back the urge to take me in his arms and show me how much he missed me. I know I would of done the same in his situation, by that I mean jumping into his embrace and claiming his dermas in a sparkbeat. I had to hold my composure for now until later. Right now I was still trying to get over the  amount of energy being given to me by Bumblebee and the humans.

After everyone was settled down and we did some catching up, everyone returned to their duties and I was headed to the dorm Optimus and I shared for recharge as it had been a long day and I wanted to feel the comfort of my own berth again after laying in dirt or solid rock the past week. I was halfway to the room when I heard Optimus' steps from where I entered the hall.

"(Y/n), going to stasus so soon?", he sounded doleful. I turned to see him standing at the end of the hallway. His face looked concerned.

"Yea, i'm pretty bent out of shape from sitting for a prolonged amount of intervals during my mission. It will be nice to get a proper recharge for a change", I replied. Optimus gave me a short nod.
