A Quiet Soul (Soundwave x Femme Reader) OS

Description - This is another story for my school series. You notice a mech being bullied and choose to reach out to him.

This has been a reoccurring thing during school hours. You would walk down the same narrow hallway to your classroom and notice outside of the window a group of mechs picking on the same guy every morning. During lunch you would pass through the hallway again out of curiosity and see the same mech sitting in that corner by himself staring at the wall. It bothered you the more you thought about it. 

He happened to be somebody from your class, but the thing was he never spent much time in class. He must of been very intelligent if he could miss all these classes and still be passing. Maybe that's why the others picked on him. That would be a pretty selfish thing to do, but that's the thing about school's society. If you are any different then the average student, you are treated like an outcast. It wasn't fair at all. Bots like him didn't deserve to be treated that way.

You later found out from the teacher that his name was Soundwave, and he wasn't like the other bots at all. He was a foster. He spent most of his days in the library studying, which would account for the reason he was able to ace every test. He had nothing better to do with his time. He didn't have any friends in the school grounds nor did he have anybody to look up to outside of school. He was isolated and alone. You wondered why everyone tried to shut him out. He didn't sound that bad. 

You tried to picture yourself in his pedes. He carried on day by day without asking anything of anyone, yet he was treated like scrap. He was never given the chance to be happy and create memories with anyone because nobody wanted to be associated with him at all. That's the part you didn't understand. If he was as innocent as it seemed then why hadn't anyone attempt to befriend him sooner? You had a constant feeling of deep sympathy for him.

You don't know how or when the others were treating him this way, but something inside your big spark wanted you to do something about it, to reach out to him somehow. The thought crossed your mind as you were walking to class with books in your servos the following day. You turned your helm expecting to see him outside in that corner but the area was empty. You frowned in disappointment. He was usually there every morning, but this time he wasn't. Where could he have gone?

"Hey! Watch where your walking four arms!", you heard a snotty voice being heard from up ahead. Your thoughts instinctively thought that Soundwave was involved. You trotted your pedes towards the voice I heard around the corner. There you saw Soundwave had fallen on the ground with his books and datapad scattered. The bully was pointing at him and laughing.

"Haha, look at you! Are you gunna cry?", he mocked him. Your chassis burned with rage. This had to stop. If anybody was going to stand up for a victim of harassment it would be you.

"Stop it!", you hollered. The bully turned to you not expecting anyone to stand up to the scene. He gave you the most rotten look a bot could pull off. You didn't even recognise him from your class. This was just some other student from a different division picking on him. That angered you even more. 

"What are you going to do about it huh? Your just a femme", he threatened taking one step towards you. He didn't look all that tough so you didn't let his remark get to you. 

"And your just some stuck up mech who thinks he can pick on someone smarter than a scrap for bolts. Now get out of here before I run this by the principle", you shot back at him. The mech drew his helm back. You bet he wasn't expecting a response like that from someone smaller than him. He scoffed in disgust and walked off without a word. You took that as a win.
