There he was, the sleek silver and grey seeker that I found so fascinating. He sat at the same spot everyday whenever I came in at the beginning of class. I always debated whether I should try sitting beside him, but I don't think my spark could take it. He was just so gorgeous in his silent beauty. His appearance gave off a noticeable vibe.

The mystery was that he never talked much to anyone. I don't know if he had any friends at all or if he chose to shut everyone out from socialising and lived in his own little world. You might ask why I was so interested in him then. Well other then the fact that he was extremely attractive, I wanted to discover his true identity, the real him. He may throw everyone off with his disconcern for the classmates around him, but i knew he was an intelligent mech with a passion for obtaining knowledge.

He always had this notebook with him that he used to make records or notes of everything we were taught. The only recognition he received was the awe from all the students when he aced every test. He must study a lot using his strategy of note taking. It gave me an idea of how I could approach him if I ever did. Knowing me, I would probably get one word out and then cower away at the first glance of his pretty red optics and flawless facial features. My anxiety always got the best of me at the worst moments.

A bell buzzed through the school signaling the class in session. All the mechs and femmes to head to their desks in an orderly fashion. I took a quick peek over to my crush who was sitting quietly as he always was with his legs over the desk, one over the other. His wings were pinned upwards against the chair. He already had his notebook out on his lap looking over what I assumed were past notes from yesterday's lecture.

The first class consisted of bio mechanics and the anatomy of a common cybertronian form. The schematics were interesting, but I still found myself getting distracted by the mech who was scribbling away with his pencil on paper. I knew there was a test coming up at the end of this week. If I were to approach him at all before then, maybe I could ask him to study with me. Surely he wouldn't turn down an offer like that. If anything I would guess that's all he does on his free time.

The thought of talking to Starscream for the first time had my mind wandering for the majority of class. I barely picked up on the key notes of the lesson. I also tried to keep optic contact with the teacher so he wouldn't suspect I was slacking off. Before I knew it, the class had ended and it was time for our break.

Everyone stood up from their seats in a hurry. A few groups went out into the hallway while the others just hung around their desks chatting with their friends. I noticed that Starscream was the only one that didn't budge from his desk. That wasn't much of a surprise. If there was any chance I could ask him about studying, now would be the perfect chance to.

Slowly but surely, I stood up to walk over to his desk. My anxiety was already starting to hit me halfway. Part of me was telling me to turn back, but I had to stay focused and not let my troublesome thoughts derail me. Finally I approached his side as respectfully as I could. The mech was tapping his pencil over his chin like he was pondering something. My appearance broke him out of his concentration and he looked up at me with a neutral expression on his face. I swallowed down the lump in my throat when I met his gaze.
