Drama Queen (Ultra Magnus x Human Reader) OS

Description - You saw that Ultra Magnus was kinda bummed after a mission so you wanted to cheer him up.

As part of the Autobots and best friends with Miko, Jack, and Ralph I would always try to bring out the best in the bots. As much as I like hanging out with Bumblebee and the others, we had additional members that joined as of recently. Wheeljack was a lone wolf that joined out of courtesy for Bulkhead, and now we have this lieutenant who was tutored by Optimus himself. I know he can be sort of a bossy mech but I believe he just needs time to adjust. Plus he doesn't exactly have a human partner to bring out his soft side like the others so I try to be that person.

Magnus, Bumblebee, Wheeljack and Arcee were just coming back from a mission. I was chatting with Ralph when we heard Ratchet contacting the team and turning on the ground bridge. One by one the smaller bots came in, with Ultra Magnus following behind them. Ralph smiled once he caught eyes on his partner. I saw Bumblebee walk over to him excitedly making beeping sounds from his voice box. I looked over at the rest of the team and noticed there was a bit of tension between Wheeljack and the lieutenant. They appeared to be arguing about something before the wrecker stormed off in a fuss. I started to feel concerned. It really had Magnus worked up. He started walking off in another direction, and my sympathy was pushing me to go after him to maybe give him some support. I jumped down from the storage box I was sitting on and started running towards the tall mech.

He was just turning the corner down a hallway when I called out to him.

"Ultra Magnus!", I yelled as I was starting to feel winded from running. He stopped and looked down towards me, kneeling to try to give a more polite poster.

"Sorry (Y/n), I  don't think now is the best time for chit chat", he apologised. It sounded like he was trying to avoid anybody at this point of his frustration. The look on his face was sincere.

"I noticed you and Wheeljack were arguing. I thought maybe you wanted to talk about it with someone, y'know, blow off some steam. If you want to be left alone I understand", I spoke softly trying to show some sympathy. Magnus' optic ridges rose a little as he realised how concerned I was but his optics glanced to the side.

"I don't think that would be much help to me, but thank you for your support", he concluded before standing up again. I felt a little hurt that he turned me down right away, but I guess it made sense since he was still really upset.

"Oh okay...well if you want to talk later, I'll be in my room", I said with a bit of sadness in my tone. The lieutenant turned towards the hallway and continued walking down the direction he was initially going before I interrupted him. I felt kind of sad watching him walk away, powerless to help him at the moment. I only wish he would let me help him feel better. I heard him kick something against the concrete. If anything he was acting like a younger bot, lashing out like a drama queen. I guess there was nothing I could do but head to my own dorm.

As I sat in my room, I couldn't help but think about Ultra Magnus and his troubles. He must feel like an outcast coming into the team that already has a leader and trying to command things if we're in the army. I fell back on my bed with my arms spread across the sheets. Poor Magnus doesn't have anyone that understands him. Just then I heard a noise near my door. I sat up and looked over to the direction of the sound but I didn't see anything. I heard the sound again, it was somebody knocking on the door. 

"(Y/n), are you in there?", a deep voice spoke with uncertainty. I jumped off the bed and made myself to my door, opening it to see who was on the other side. 

"Oh! Magnus!", I said surprisingly. He was crouched by the door with unweary optics I didn't even recognize his voice by how shallow he was talking.
