Confession (Optimus x Fem Human Reader) OS

A/N: Get ready for this cheesy ass story xD

Description - Optimus takes you to watch the full moon. This sets the perfect mood for him to confess his feelings for you.

Optimus requested my attention. I don't know what it was, but it was unusual for the Prime to make a request to take me somewhere alone, however I would never object such a request because I valued every moment I spend with the mighty transformer.

I envied our great leader. He had so much power and wisdom to inspire others such as myself. As a human, I felt I was much more than just a small being in comparison to the other bots. He made me feel equally relevant to the team. Being asked to accompany him late at night was what puzzling me the most. I knew if I stopped worrying about it and go to Optimus now I would find out soon enough. 

As I made my way to him, I started to feel all giddy inside. I was excited about this for some reason. Maybe it was the fact that the two of us were going to be alone which wasn't a very common occurrence. Optimus didn't have much free time to spend on his own, so knowing that he wanted to spend that time with me is what made things even more special. 

I skipped along towards the towering bot who turned to me once he caught sight of the initial cheer coming towards him. He looked down to my smaller form. I never realised just how tall he really was until I was standing just at his feet. The blue and red on his body stood out brilliantly where I stood. It's like I was staring at a knight in shining armor. 

"Good evening (Y/n)", he greeted with a welcoming smile. "Are you ready to accompany me on our planned voyage?". I nodded my head excitedly. 

"Yes Optimus, um, where exactly are we going?", I asked curiously. Optimus opened up the ground bridge and walked along the bridge to the portal, turning to me again. 

"You'll find out soon enough, now come", he gestured me over to him. I brought my arms in front of me nervously and followed close behind the large mass of metal in front of me. Even when he was pacing slowly I could feel the rumble of his feet hitting the ground with a clang. It would suck to be trampled on by Autobot feet I thought to myself. 

The place we ported to was not what I was expecting, not that I had any clear idea of where we were going in the first place. We appeared to be somewhere high up on a mountain because the air felt thin. Ahead of me there was a tall stone wall that I couldn't quite see over. 

I turned to Optimus to ask why we were here but then he leaned down and placed his hand against the ground, quickly glancing down to it as a hint for me to hop on. I climbed onto his large servo that cupped around me while he stood back up. The feeling made my heart jump because I couldn't really see through his fingers, but I knew I was safe in his grasp. Still, I unintentionally grabbed onto one of his fingers for leverage so I wouldn't fall over. 

I was then brought up to his shoulder and he gently placed me along the crevice of his neck. As soon as I slid off I looked over to what I couldn't see before and saw a city far down in the distance from where we were. We were definitely somewhere high up as I presumed. The way the city lights shone at night were always pleasant to look at from afar. I then looked up and noticed how clear the sky was. The only thing I saw were the twinkling stars and the ambient light of the full moon that shone brightly in the sky.

"Wow, what a wonderful night this is", I expressed my amazement. Optimus grappled one of his hands along the stone in front of him. 

"Indeed (Y/n), I know you have already experienced the wonders of your planet such as the pristine glow of your planet's moon, but I have yet to see all the phenomenons it has to offer", he spoke out towards the sky. I glanced over to the leader watching him admire the blanket of stars covering the sky. Optimus was such a gentle person. He found joy out of simple things in life and never ceased to find more opportunities to explore the unknown. Sure, Earth probably wasn't as cool and advanced as Cybertron, but I guess anything  that is completely foreign to him would be considered fascinating in their eyes. 

I finally sat down along the cables that were part of the Prime's circuitry. I made myself comfortable tucking my legs in and wrapping my arms around them. Optimus grunted when he felt me shift. I felt him tense up when I moved. I wondered what he was thinking at this moment other the view we were present in. I shifted my fingers slightly. There was a slight jump in my heart that started to grow into something more pronoun.  I started to feel the crush I had towards the leader coming back to me again. 

It was a silly attachment that I had towards the transformer, but it was real. I always found joy in being around him and I couldn't help but wonder what he really thought about me. That wasn't really specific enough. What I really mean was if Optimus saw me any more than a friend. It's stupid I know, but I can't change how I feel. It's just something my brain came up with and now I can't stop thinking about it. 

"(Y/n)", Optimus called. I answered with a hum. "Hmm?".

"I assume you are wondering why I brought you to this secluded quarters with no proper explanation", he spoke in a comfortable tone. I could only see a glimpse of his eyes but I could see that he was looking over at me. 

"There are a lot of things I wish to get off my chest", he continued. My curiosity built up. I wasn't sure what he was planning to say, but it made me excited in a way.

"Oh yea? W-what's that?", I stuttered. I started playing with my hair without thinking. I didn't notice how nervous I was getting by this. My head was coming up with all these scenarios of him confession his love for me like I had hoped. 

"Forgive me for feeling this way, but I have developed a deep connection with you ever since you have joined with the Autobots", he confessed submissively. "I know that may seem strange given our differences, but I was hoping you would accept my feelings and maybe further deepen the relationship we have".

"Optimus", I gasped. I swear it's like he was just reading my mind. I have had countless fantasies of this moment, but I never thought that it would become a reality. Optimus grunted nervously. He was unsure of what I was thinking at the moment. I bet he was going to be just as surprised as me once I told him what was on my mind right now. 

"I never knew you thought that way. This is going to sound crazy, but I too have felt a connection with you", I smiled widely trying not to giggle with excitement. I felt his body jerk from my response.

"Really?", he asked rather eagerly. He reached up and took me in his hand again to bring me to his face so he could look at me properly. When I was able to see the full side of his face, I saw the red that had formed along his cheeks. They were raised slightly giving him the most childish expression ever. It was cute no doubt. The pupil in his eye grew bigger as he focused on me giving him a more innocent look.

"I am very delighted to hear that (Y/n)", he said happily. His own cheerfulness was starting to affect me. He closed his eyes and brought his face forward to nudge against affectionately. I started to blush from the contact. My heart was thumping in my chest at this point. I tried to calm myself down so I wouldn't feel like it was about to burst. I placed my hand along the smooth metal on his face and touched my forehead against him. I felt the immediate heat radiating off his body. I never noticed how closely similar the warmth of his body from touching metal was to body temperature. 

We stayed in that position for a while. I don;t know why, but the contact felt so pleasant. Optimus didn't know it, but even the simplest motions such as this were enough to make me feel butterflies in my stomach. Now that we knew how we felt about each other, I hoped we could do more stuff like this, to spend more time with each other. I never felt anything weird about this connection we had as human and bot. It shouldn't matter what the difference is as long as you both love each other. However it would work out, we were now closer than we have ever been.
