How's It Hummin? (Ratchet x Femme Reader) Lemon

Description - Ratchet has a totally different personality when he's under the influence of synthetic energon.

I knew that Ratchet's little experiment using himself as a test subject had caused some side affects, but they caused him to act like a completely different mech. The arrogance and short fused temperament had been replaced with a high ego and gutsy personality. I'd seen enough of it to believe it was true when I saw him toss Bulk through the wall like a tin can. I wasn't sure if I should feel happy or concerned for him, but I had never seen him so lively. Maybe this was a good break for him from the struggles that we had gone through the past cycles.

"Need a second hand?" Ratchet asked his leader who was heading out in response to a high energon signal. Optimus paused at the portal walkway and turned to face the medic leaning against the wall in an overconfident matter. His face was weary on the idea.

"Ratchet, I appreciate your enthusiasm to jump on every opportunity we come across, but I feel that the synthetic energon has impaired your capability of thinking clearly. I fear that it might jeopardise the mission. You are of much greater use at base with your medical and navigational expertise", he replied. Ratchet's smile wiped from his face plate. There was a low gruff of disappointment that escaped from his throat but he tried to shrug it off.

"Fine, but just so you know your holding back your best match for the Decepticons", he gloated. The Prime's expression dropped. I was scared that their small argument was going to turn into something more prolonged.

"Engaging in heavy combat may not be necessary for this mission", he concluded before turning his other teammates including me. His optics were mostly set on mine.

"(Y/n), i need you to stay here with Ratchet and ensure that he is taken care of. It has come to my attention that the affects of his experiment have proven more alarming than I anticipated", he glanced at Ratchet who now had a bitter look on his face. "Be sure to keep your coms open if I should require additional support". I didn't want to question his choice in the matter so I simply nodded.

"Understood", I answered firmly. I stood aside and watched the tall leader take position to leave base.

"Autobots, transform and roll out!", he ordered. The sound of metal shifting filled the room and the rumble of engines until the point where they were drowned out by the portal. I turned back to Ratchet in the sudden silence that was left after the portal closed. I was expecting him to have that same face of defeat but instead he was smiling.

"I'm sure Optimus will contact us later for help", he assumed with a confident smile. I was still getting used to that cheery tone of his. He never so much smiled at times like this to begin with. It was a little unsettling. Ratchet pushed himself off the wall he was still leaned against and walked over to me, perhaps to make me feel more accompanied in the large and quiet room we were currently stationed in.

I got a quick glance of his optics that were now an ominous green colour. There was something i found intriguing about them but they were off putting at the same time. They appeared to glow with more vibrancy and energy than before. I almost jumped when they turned to focus on me.

"So, how's it hummin'?", he asked suddenly crossing his arms. the sentence was hard to comprehend as it was coming from the medic. His posture was even different. He rested on his hip almost in a flirtatious matter. The way he was positioned he could easily tower over me by our frame difference. I was around the same height as Arcee. Not sure if I was taller or shorter than her, haven't really tried to compare. I quirked my helm.
