Carl kissed me and said "lets get ready to go". I unwrapped my arms from him and I put my boots on. I gently tucked my knives in them tied my boots tight. I grabbed my crossbow and swung it onto my back. Bob came over and said "lift up the back of your shirt. I hesitated at first, but then I pulled it up. I faced away from him so he could see my back.
He cleared his throat then put something on the cuts, whip marks, and bruises. I looked back and he had a tiny tube of neosporin. He said "I was saving it for it I get hurt, but you need it more than I do at ths point". I said "thank you" and winced when he rubbed over the sore bruises. Carl held my hand and leaned his forehead against mine.
I squeezed his hand as Bob put neosporin on a very sensative cut. He said "this will get infected if I dont get some disinfectant, but the neosporin should help for now". He pulled my shirt down and said "ok, now the front side". I lifted my shirt up not uncovering my bra.I asked "can Carl do this side". He said "if it makes you more comfotable, then yes". He handed the tube to Carl and told his "make sure you get every bruise, cut, and mark". He said "yes sir" then faced me.
He spread some neosporin on his finger and gently rubbed some on a bruise on my ribs. I looked into his eyes and smiled. He smiled back and put more neosporin on my cuts. Rick walked over and asked "are you ready to...". He looked at all the marks and asked "are you ok"? I said "yeah". Rick knelt down and said "if you need anything dont me afraid to tell me". I smiled and said "thank you Rick". He patted my shoulder and said "your one brave girl". He stood up and said "just come over to the group when your ready".
Carl asked "does it hurt"? I said "no, it's just really sore". He leaned closer and asked "did he touch you". I said "well what does it look like he did". He said "I dont mean it like that, you know what I mean". I looked down and said "he kissed me and tried to take my clothes off, but I kicked him. Thats when he started to beat me. He took my shirt off so he could whip me and punch me harder". He had tears in his eyes and he said "so he kissed you". I said "yeah, but I didnt kiss him back, the whole time I was there I thought of you and Daryl".
I pulled down my shirt and said "lets get back to the group". He grabbed my hand and held onto it tightly. We walked over to them and Sasha asked "how are you doing"? I said "fine". I looked over at Daryl and he motioned for me to come over to me. I said "Carl stay here for a sec, I'm gonna go talk to Daryl". He let go of my hand and kissed my cheek.
I walked over to Daryl and asked"wutcha need"? He said "are you sure your ok because you dont look like you are". I said "I'm fine, it's just that I wish it never happened". He said "me too kiddo, but we all cant believe how brave you are". I said "well you and Merle taught me". He smiled and asked "did that kid do anything else to you"? I said "well he kissed me and tried to take my clothes off, but I kicked him, thats when he started to beat me". He pulled me in for a hug and he kissed the top of my head".
I asked "who else do we need to find"? He said "Glenn and Tyrese". I asked "who are they"? He said "Glenn is a korean boy. He is also Maggie's boyfriend. Tyrese is a muscular black dude. He is Sasha's older brother". I said "well let's go find them". I loaded my crossbow and walked to the group. I said "let's go, we need to find Glenn and Tyrese". Sasha and Maggie smiled. I lead the group down the road.
After about an hour of walking we came across a few houses. I said "we split up in groups". We all went to different houses. We all had a partner with us. I took Carl because Daryl went with Rick. I said to Carl "I'll go to the house by the treeline". He asked "why"? I said "because if he came out of the woods from there then he would have went to the house closest to him". He said "got thinking". I said tp him "take the house next to mine".
We ran over to the houses and went inside. I walked inside and looked around. I scanned the first floor and seen nothing. I went into the kitchen and looking inside of the fridge. I pulled out a full case of water. I looked in the pantry and found 2 bags of potato chips. I set them on the table and said to myself "at least we have food now".
