Ch:2 War at the Prison

Snap! I quickly snapped out of my sleep. I grabbed my crossbow and loaded it. After I loaded it I looked down below my tree stand. There were all sorts of people walking through the woods. They had guns so I laid back down and tried to be quite. Then the tree started shaking as a huge tank came rolling through the forest. I peeked my eyes out over my tree stand and seen an angry guy with an eyepatch. He looked really scary so I looked away.

I stood there watching them as they all went in a direction I never went in before. After they were a good ways infront of me I climbed down and followed them. A zombie appears out from behind a tree so I grabbed my knife and stabbed it in the brain. I slid my knife out and let the zombie drop to the floor. I examined the walked and noticed that it had a military suit on.

I reached into the pocket and pulled out a small hand gun. I took the clip out and counted the bullets. There were 5 so I would save it for an emergency.

I ran away from the carcass to catch up with the people. Once I had them in my sight again I slowly followed them making sure nobody could see me. As I walked I stepped on a stick which made a loud crack. One of the men turned around and started walking this way. I hid behind the tree and slowly peeked out.

He walked right up to my tree and stood there. As he stood there my heart was pounding and I started to panic. I could hear him breathing, then he quickly walked back to the group. I let out a breath and slid down the tree trunk, I sat there for about 10 minutes making sure that nobody was hanging around the area.

I got up again and started walking towards them again. I took a few steps forward then heard this big exspolsion. I ran behind another tree and listened to yelling and screaming. I came to this tree line and in the distance was a huge prison. All of the people that passed my tree were there. Then the tank fired another shot at one of the guard towers. I closed my ears and tried to get the loud sound out of my head.

A guy stepped out of the fenced in area and walked towards the guy with an eyepatch. Then he looked at the crowd and two people came over with bags over their heads. I couldnt believe what I was seeing, this is unbelievable. Mr.eyepatch took the sacks off of the two peoples heads and the guy from the prison started freaking out. I felt bad for the two people tied up. One was black and it was a girl, she looked young, and the other was an old man with one leg and white hair. As Mr.eyepatch and Mr.prison owner kept talking, someone handed Mr.eyepatch a samuri sword.

My heart started pounded and I knew that it was about to get ugly. Mr.eyepatch held the samuri sword to the old guys throat as Mr.prison owner started giving a small speech on how they could both live in the prison. Then Mr. eyepatch screamed "LIAR" and slashed the old guys throat.

My eyes grew wide and I cupped my hands over my mouth. After the old guy fell to the ground all hell broke loose.Everybody opened fire and the tank started shotting. I laid down in the tall grass so they didnt think I was an ememy. If I looked close enought at the prison people were pileing into a bus and it took off.

While this was going on Mr.eyepatch and Mr.prison owner were fighting. They threw punches at eachother left and right. Then the black woman crawled over to the samuri sword. I think its hers. She cut herself free and ran over to Mr.eyepatch. She drew back her sword and stabbed him. He fell to the ground and started gasping for air.

I ran along the tree line and went into a hole in the prison fence. I heard a baby crying so I ran towards the sound. A baby was lying in a carseat all by herself. Walkers were coming after her so I shot one with my crossbow and ran over the the baby. I scooped her up then grabbed my arrow that was lodged into the walkers head. I put it in the arrow holder on my crossbow and ran back through the fence. I tried to fun fast, but carefully because I didnt want to hurt the baby. When I got back to the tree lining I looked back at the prison which now was hoarded with walkers.

I ran through the forest and back to my tree stand. I had to climb with one hand and hold the baby wiith the other. After we were safe and secure up in the tree stand I looked down at the crying baby and asked "what are we going to do now"?
