Our destination turned out to be a small local cafe in a quieter part of the city.

"Interesting choice." I step out of the car, stretching and observing my surroundings.

"Thanks. I didn't want to go somewhere too crowded." Seven places his hand to his face like a wall to his brother, who's standing on the other side of him, as if he's telling me a secret. "You know, because Saeran's a bit of a..." He whispers (loudly, might I add), making a cuckoo sign with his free hand. "... Around people."

"I fucking hate you." Saeran rolls his eyes and walks around the back of the car, standing next to me.

I laugh. "We know. But Seven's not entirely wrong, you know..."

Seven smiles, resting his elbows on the roof of his car, looking at us with raised eyebrows.

Saeran grabs my hand and squeezes it. Hard. "I don't think you're in a position right now to agree with any of the stupid shit my brother said..." He quietly hisses into my ear.

I nod and try to keep my face nonchalant, since Seven is still looking at us and I don't want him to suspect anything strange. "L-let's go inside."

Great job. You stuttered. Fucking nailed it.

Seven laughs. "Alright, lovebirds, quit gawking. Let's get something to eat."

As the door to the cafe opens, I'm hit with the overwhelming scent of the sweetness of cinnamon rolls mixed with bitter coffee. It's indescribable. I close my eyes and take it in, smiling a little.

"Hey, (Y/n). Quit hogging the doorway. Someone might want to come in."

I open my eyes to glare at Saeran. "Okay. Thanks for ruining the moment, by the way."

Luciel laughs at us. "You two are weird."

"Look who's talking." I laugh along with him.

Saeran just grips my hand tighter until I stop laughing.

We step to the side and stare up at the menu, picking out various pastries and 3 unhealthy drinks. I reach into my pocket for my wallet but Seven stops me.

"Nope. I'm buying. As a thank you."

I shake my head. "I can't let you do that."

He rolls his eyes. "You and Saeran go pick out a table. I'm not accepting your money. Now go. Get out of here, you crazy kids."

Before I could object, Saeran dragged me to a booth in the corner of the cafe, away from the quiet chatter from the several customers that plagued the small building.

"Jesus, finally. I've been trying to lose him for ages." He huffed.

"Why?" I furrow my brows, staring at him from across the table.

Saeran lets out a hollow laugh. "Like I said, he's impossible. Plus, he's being so crude towards you. It's pissing me off."

"He's just joking. Seven does that. A lot."

"Whatever. And stop calling him that."

I raise my eyebrow. "Why can't I call him Seven?"

He flicks my forehead. "Ow! What the fuck?"

"I just said not to call him that. It's stupid. Call him by his actual name."

"Yeah, well you could have expressed your distaste in a different way. Preferably one that causes less brain damage." I rub my head gently, attempting to soothe the throbbing pain.
