Mine

Saeran opens the door and leans away from me while exiting the car.

I probably should be scared, shouldn't I?

I unbuckle my seatbelt and open my door.

I DID basically invite him, didn't I? Whatever happens, I asked for it. Might as well embrace it.

I step outside and close the door, jumping after hearing Saeran's door slam loudly.

I feel his presence behind me and soon his hand was brushing against mine. While we are walking to the elevator, I link our fingers, gently squeezing his hand in an attempt to calm him down.

I know he is still pissed from what happened in the car, maybe I can convey my apology through my hand somehow...?

He squeezes my hand back harshly, his fingernails digging into my knuckles.

OW! Shit. I guess I'm screwed, then.

I let go of his hand, but he just squeezes harder, and I wince in pain.

At this rate, he might draw blood. I should stop resisting.

I take his hand again, barely putting any pressure against the back of his hand, and he lightens his death-grip on my hand.

I sigh internally.

That's better.

During the entire elevator ride, Saeran put himself between me and his brother.

Why is he putting so much distance between me and Seven? We're friends, after all.

I glance to my right at Saeran. He's staring straight forward, lost in thought. He is still holding onto my hand for dear life, but without the original violent intentions. It seems almost... absentminded now. I try to reassuringly stroke his hand with my thumb, momentarily forgetting where such actions got me last time. Thankfully, he loosens his grip and glances over at me, as if he has just been woken up from a strange trance.

I can't say anything without his brother worrying, so I just question him with my eyes.

Saeran shakes his head and squeezes my hand before letting go.

I hope he's alright...

After avoiding his brother yet again, Saeran quickly drags me over to his room. Locking the door behind him, he turns to me. "Aren't I supposed to be showing you what I've learned?"

I lean in closer, and he does the same expectantly.

Before the space closes, I place two fingers on his lips, stopping him from getting any nearer. "After we finish the project." I smirk and walk over to his desk, leaving him just standing in front of his closed door. He isn't saying anything. I think I broke him.

The posterboard is still flat on his desk from yesterday, all of the information neatly arranged, ready to be glued down permanently. I pick up one of the glue sticks next to it and carefully flip over a square, applying the glue gently.

Feeling arms wrap around my waist and Saeran's chin rest on my head, I jump a little. "You're a crafty piece of shit, (F/n) (L/n)."

I laugh. "Who writes your one-liners? That sounds familiar."

He moves his head to the crook of my neck and I shiver, not taking my attention from the delicate shapes I'm making on the paper with my glue stick. "She's a bit occupied at the moment, but I'm sure you two would get along."

He sighs, and I shiver again. "Hurry up. I want to practice more."

I lean forward to press the square into place, slowly so he wouldn't fall over and had time to lean forward with me. "Not until this is done. We need to finish. Saeyoung would suspect if he saw the project was still unfinished, wouldn't he?" I sigh when he doesn't answer. "Why don't you help me? It'll get done twice as fast that way."

"I don't want to." I roll my eyes at his answer and grab another square, repeating the tedious process.

I feel Saeran's head turn to the left, his lips grazing my neck. I freeze. "Don't you dare."

"But you aren't paying attention to me." He kisses my neck.

"Don't do anything other than that." I don't move. I can't.

"And what will you do if I do?" Saeran opens his mouth against my neck, waiting. Painfully. Slow. I'm thankful this time. A mark like that would be hard to explain.

"Please stop." I whisper. I hope he doesn't.

NO! You aren't supposed to want this. You have to stay focused.

"Do you really want me to?" He closes his mouth again, planting another gentle kiss there.

I'm lucky I'm not trembling. I probably would be in most cases. I debate telling him the truth. Eventually, I decide SCREW IT and shake my head.

Saeran smirks against my neck "Thought so." He gently takes a little bit of my skin between his teeth.

"Do you have to do that now?" My voice is still reduced to a whisper in anticipation of what Saeran chooses to do next and the power he holds over me in this situation.

I don't get a verbal answer. Saeran just starts sucking on my neck gently. I take in a sharp breath, trying to keep a clear head and to focus on the task at hand. I continue gluing a third square, this time with shaking hands.

"Let go. I have to put the square down."

Saeran doesn't listen, and instead takes more of my skin into his mouth. Just great.

I bite my lip to stop any unwanted noises from escaping.

"Stop."

He bites down harder and I gasp.

"Q-quit it. I have to finish this p-project since you won't help me."

Saeran refuses to listen exactly when I ask him and waits a minute or two before finally detaching his mouth from my neck.

I quickly place the square down and apply pressure, hoping the already-drying glue will still stick on the posterboard.

"What the HELL was that?" I spin around, after further securing the square with extra glue, glaring at Saeran. I was hoping to be intimidating and yet I'm aware my hands are shaking uncontrollably.

"You told me to find another punishment method." His gaze shifts down to my neck and he smirks. "Maybe now Saeyoung will leave you alone."

My eyes widen. "Oh, shit! He can't see it! How do I hide it?" I lift my collar over the area where his mouth was self-consciously.

Saeran gently swats my hand away, letting my shirt collar fall back into place lower on my neck. He admires my neck a little more. "Don't. I like it." He leans forward and whispers in my ear. "Now everyone will know you're mine."
