~Pulling up to the diner~
We all get out of the impala and head into an old familiar, run down diner. I know this diner, it's not far from an old hotel I used to stay at. I think to myself as I walk through the small door way.
"Um table for three, please!" Sam says to the waitress. "Is a booth okay?" She asks, staring him down. "Yes, that's fine." Sam says with a slight smile. "Okay, right this way." She says with a small smile, she turns her back towards us and starts walk to a table. We all follow her and sit at the table she directs us to. "Anything to drink?" She asks turning to face us, with a notepad in her hand. "Um, yes I would like a water." Sam says, she nods and writes it down. "I would like a water as well." I say. "Well I would like a water too, I guess." Dean says looking at me and his brother with a smile. "Okay, anything else?" The waitress asks just before she turns away. "Um yes, I need to use the woman's room." I lie. "Oh, it's down that hall to the right." She says with a kind smile before walking away. I nod and get up, "I'll be right back." I say as I start towards the restrooms. I turn down the hall, to see three doors. Two that lead to bathrooms and one that leads to freedom. I look behind me to make sure that no one is following me, and then I turn back to face the door. I quickly open the door and bolt for the hotel not to far away from here. I'm sorry boys. I think while running.
Dean's POV:
Dang it's been a while, she should be done by now. "Sam it's been a while, don't you think?" I ask looking over to him. "Well, it has been 20 min." He replies, looking down at his watch. "That's it, I'm going in." I say before standing up.
"Can I get you two boys something to eat?" The waitress asks, pushing her fake boobs up. "No, here's a 5 it should cover our water and your tip." I say handing her the money, before I walk away. I make my way towards the restrooms, and walk over to the woman's room. I knock on the door and get no reply. "Amanda are you okay in there?" I ask, putting my ear close to the door, no reply. "Amanda I'm going to ask you one more time, are you okay?" I question, still no response. "Okay I'm coming in." I say opening the door to reveal an empty bathroom with no one in it. Shit, she fucking ran away.
I storm back to the table where Sam is. "Come on we gotta go now." I say in a frustrated tone. I grab my jacket and throw it around me. "Where's Amanda?" Sam asks, while putting on his coat. "She's gone, she ran." I say as I walk past him and out the doors of the diner.
Amanda's POV:
I finally make it to the hotel and I check in with the money I hid in my bra. I get the room key and make my way to my room. I open the door and walk in to see a TV, a bed, a night stand, a mini fridge, and a small bathroom. "Great, home sweet home." I mumble to myself before bolt locking the door behind me.
The boys are probably after me by now. I wish I could have left them a note letting them know that I was okay and to not coming looking for me. Maybe I will soon, but for tonight I'm going to try and get some sleep. I think to myself as I lay down on the motel bed.
Sam's POV:
"Dean, we aren't going to find her tonight. We should just wait till morning, she'll be fine. She's defended herself before, remember?" I try and reason with my stubborn brother. A long silence fills the impala, I look over to my brother waiting for a response. "Your right." Is all Dean says, he spins the car around and starts to head back to the bunker. God I hope Amanda's okay.
~Dean's POV- back at bunker~
I walk over to the table and pour myself a drink. I take a big chug of it and walk into the room where Amanda's stuff is. I sit down on the bed and start to get lost in thought. Why? Why would she tell us her life story and then leave, just like that? What is her deal? Why? I gulp down more of my drink, feeling my body start to get a little intoxicated, I focus on Amanda's bag sitting against the wall.
"Hey, we should get some sleep, if we are going after her tomorrow." Sam says from the doorway. I turn my focus to my little brother who's taller than me and give him a slight nod. I grab Amanda's bag and sit it down on the bed. I start to unzip it when Sam interrupts, "What are you doing?" He asks confused. "You can sleep, but I'm gonna get down to the bottom of her, I'm going to find out what she's hiding and why." I slur, while going through the bag. "Well then I'll help." I hear Sam say supportingly. "Great." I slur looking over at him with an approving smile. He grabs his lap top, sits down in a chair and begins his research.
I dump the contents of the bag out on the bed to see a note pad fall out. I pick it up and read what it says:
-killings- Demons
-motels 1
-hotels 2
-motel 2
-hotel 1
-motel 3
549-567-34567I flip the page:
Dad;
Missing since 1986
Death/ many times?
Social identity/ many
I read over the paper slowly. She's trying to figure out what happened to her father.
"Sam!" I say a little loudly. "Yes?" He looks up from his computer screen. "Find anything?" I ask looking at him then at the computer in his lap. "No, have you?" He asks rubbing his eyes. "Um actually maybe." I say as I hand him the note pad for him to examine. "I think she's trying to figure out where her father is and if he's alive." I say referring to the second page. He turns the page over and nods. "Yeah that's what it looks like to me too, but something I think is a little more important is the first page. She was on a hunt up here maybe these are her notes from her hunt up here. She has a phone number listed, it could be the motel she's at." He explains his theory. "Well it's worth a shot." I shrug, taking the last sip of my drink.
